Warning - Do NOT go to Midas unless you want to get ripped off. Tried to tell me that my daughter's car needed new catalytic converter with work totaling $4k -- even gave me a written estimate. When I took it to Toyota Service for 2nd opinion, ACTUALLY only needs muffler & work with total of only $1,200. They tried same BS when my other daughter took her truck to Midas in Binghamton for an oil change and tried to scare her into $5k of work. This company SUCKS!

Went in for a oil change which my vehicle takes the full synthetic blend and I know it's 79.99 and they do the rotation of the tires after getting the explanation of what work needed to be done soon the bill would have been over 1600.00 brakes rotors and filters so I said I would take some time to think about it ......so once the total came up I was charged 90.93 how did I go from 79.99 and used a coupon 20.00 off which before take is 59.99 they then charged me another 24.99 which I never said to look at my brakes just do a oil change and be done with it ......i want my refund from the brake inspection I never said for them to do ......,,I won't go back to Midas again!!!!!!

went for an oil change they informed me that the tires needed to be balanced by just checking one when I questioned him how do you know all four needed to be balanced he stated that they will check them before they balance them watched their tech take the tires off and take it to the balancing machine without checking he took the weights off and rebalanced the remaining three when I questioned he said his tech did check them this is a scam to charge customers for work not needed needless to say never going back

Outstanding customer service!! I don't usually like chain businesses but I stopped in and was amazed in how honest and fair they are. I thought I needed a whole new exhaust and all I needed was a 30$ clamp. They could have easily ripped me off. I will use them again

Dropped my car off Friday for an 11am appt. at 5 they called to let us know they never even looked at it. We told them we needed it by 9am Saturday. At 10am Saturday they called to say it was ready. We then told them we had to go out of town unexpectedly and asked if they could lock the keys in the center counsel and we'd pick it up after hours using our spare key. Just went there to get my car and it's locked inside the garage. Oh and they're closed on sundays. When calling the help line on Midas website there is a message saying the mailbox is full. Sooooo guess I won't be able to get to work Monday thanks Midas for the worst customer service I've ever seen.

The WORST experience ever! My son needed snow tires mounted on to his car. He had an appointment at 2:30 pm & wasn't seen until nearly 5:00 pm. (He's 19 & somewhat naive). The tech mounted 3 out of the 4 tires on & while removing the 4 th tire notices that the Lug nut was tight . It was nearing closing time & the tech said he could not finish the job because it would take too long. My son came home & gave me the paperwork which stated the same. A couPle of weeKs later, I asked my son where the previous tires were & he stated that he was never asked if he wanted to keep them. He truly did not I know to ask for them. 2 of the tires were brand new. I spoke to Jon the manager, who stated he would "have to look into this." I did not receive ive a return call & when I called back, I was told he was at lunch & would return my call. NOT! So I called the district manager "Harry" who also stated that he would look into this & call me back.. NOT!!! Jon called me the next day & stated that Harry was having "some personal issues " & that my situation was still being reviewed. So after no return call... again.. I proceeded to call customer satisfaction - they took my information & sincerely apologized for this poor business practice. The representative actually called Midas while I was on hold , spoke to Jon who emphatically denied ANY knowledge of me or my situation! I was given a number for corporate division of Midas, explained the entire situation AGAIN & was told that there was "nothing that could be done " for any kind of compensation or consideration " for my loss. So my brand new tires are probably being driven as "used" as they were most likely sold by Midas..I am SCREWED all the way around . Thank you, you liars & thieves for NOTHINGi

Talk about honesty! My car was making a funny noise and I suspected it was wearing brake pads. I took it to this place and the guys looked it over and couldn't find anything wrong with my brakes, etc. I'm from Colorado and just wanted to be sure I could make it back home without problem. They didn't charge me for taking a look. You can trust these guys! They are my heroes!

Just got my car back from Midas and I have to commend them on a great job. My 15 year old Ford was stalling sporadically, and I was thinking it was the end of the line for the car. Midas diagnosed the problem, gave me a solution that made sense for what I was seeing, fixed it, and then spent most of a day making sure that they had it solved. At the end of the day, the cost was reasonable too. Thanks guys!

I was very impressed at first with Jason Seeley and how fast he didn't all my breaks. He did them in the time it took another mechanic to do one set of brakes. But here it is almost a year later and my brakes suck. Went back and the "2 year warranty" they told me is void. I haven't even driven enough in the last year to warrant an oil change. Good job guys. Messing with a single mother.

Some examples of how well they treat their customers: 1: They make sure only one person ever works on my car and it's someone who is used to working on my type of car. 2: Multiple times they have brought me into the garage itself to warn me of a potential problem that could come up during a repair. Only once did this develop into something but by doing this they made sure nothing came up as a surprise extra cost and I'd be able to see the potential problem myself. 3: Certain parts for my car are hard to get. Twice they built their own workarounds to re-mount certain things, specifically the radiator fans, rather than buying the part brand new super expensive from the dealership simply to avoid extra cost to me. For the radiator fans it's because the new mounting bracket for them has different clip placements, so they just built new mounting options to fit the new radiator and fans to the old bracket. 4: They replaced my oil pan but forgot to charge for the oil so they just put it in for free. It's clear this place doesn't screw their customers over. What more could you ask for?

I previously gave this place 5 stars because I really believed this place was great to work with and did everything right. However, I sadly have to change my mind about that review because every time I go in for an oil change, I end up waiting 5+ hours. That's right, 5+ HOURS! An oil change takes no more than 15-20 minutes at any other place. Not only that, but the staff are incredibly stressed about something. Maybe because they are constantly busy with all of the traffic that comes through or maybe because management is yelling at them in front of customers. I'm not sure what it is, but it has to stop. You can't have people yelling at each other while the customer sits and waits hoping for their car to be worked on correctly just for the guy to come out and say, "oh I forgot to do your oil change". I was gonna keep my review up because at one time this place was 5 stars to me, but after waiting 5+ hours for an oil change more than twice I had to change my review and get my oil changes done at the Valvoline across the street. Giving this place 2 stars because prices are reasonable in this area and because old management was fantastic.

I had never been here before, but I was due for an inspection and happened to have received a half off coupon in the mail, so I made an appointment online. They only offered two hour windows of time, which seemed strange, but I wanted an appointment so I wouldn't have to as wait long. The store apparently thought the two hour thing was odd as well because they called me the morning of my appointment to confirm a more specific time. I told them I could be there at any time in that window and to tell me when they anticipated the quickest service. I showed up when directed and was told it would be about a ten minute wait until they could start the inspection. Great, I thought. Except after 55 minutes, my car still hadn't moved from where I had parked it. I finally said something, and after another five minutes or so they pulled the car in, where it sat unattended for another 20 minutes. I guess making an appointment here isn't worth the effort, and estimates of time are meaningless as well. Very disappointing. Will not be returning and cannot recommend.

Midas in Clifton Park has been my servicer for years. I drove a Dodge Caravan for 213,000 miles and they kept it maintained properly; I used it for business and it was vital that it ran properly and reliably. I had them do some major work on it in 2016 (radiator, 2 tires, brakes and rotors, alignment, oil change, etc) - handed them $1000 and got change :) More recently Jon has been taking care of my 3 Cadillacs (yes, I am a bit OCD when it comes to toys :). He has been exceptionally honest with me, pointing out what absolutely positively needed repair at the time, and what could wait, and what could be ignored. The prices are excellent, they have honored all coupons and discounts I have found for Midas, and most importantly, the jobs are done when promised, for the amount quoted (or less) and done right the first time. I do not think I have ever had to bring a car or van back for rework; if I have it was so long ago that it really doesn't matter. Today I was working on one of my cars myself - I like to tinker, and like to keep my older cars (2001, 1987) original. I pulled a strut from my Eldorado to change it, and messed something up. I called Midas to see if I could get some quick tech support - bear in mind here that Midas never touched this job, was not involve, made no money on it - I bought my own parts and installed them. I talked to Bill and he immediately identified my problem, asked a question or 2 to verify that he was on the right track, and told me EXACTLY what to do to fix the problem. Imagine my surprise when he asked where I lived, then mentioned that he passed right through my town on the way home, and offered to come over after work and look over my shoulder and help if I wanted it - at no charge! I challenge anyone to tell me why I would ever want to use another repair shop.
