“I absolutely love this store and will not buy pet products anywhere else aside from maybe one thing. We have two dogs and a cat. We got a new puppy last year, a huge handful. He was a biter, a fighter, a chewer, a playful boy and always hungry. Our trainer suggested an item that we could only find at Bensons and from there we were hooked. They have the best toys, high quality, tough options for dogs who are rough on toys. We can't find toys anywhere else that our dogs can safely use. They have so many options for chews and treats, now both dogs can chew away their anxiety when needed and who doesn't love treats? Lately we discovered our dogs have food allergies, severe in many ways. The staff at Bensons have gone above and beyond with their knowledge and expertise to help us find a safe and affordable solution for our fur kids. They've spent a lot of time lately discussing our dogs issues with me and going through all of the options available. If something didnt work, they were there to help. Our dogs are no longer having allergic reactions and are as happy as can be. Also, they always have our cats favorite treats in stock and tons of his favorite toys. Every time we go in the store we're greeted with smiles and someone is always there to help. It's a great store and really beats the big name places. Highly recommended from our family to yours.”
“A long staple of the area. You can go and get any type of dog cat exotic thing you might need. Very nice and helpful staff. I haven't used their dog boarding but I hear it's great too”

“The staff is amazing. The pups are beautiful. Please try to foster and build a bond with a fur baby. They have all been through there own drama in life. Like any other pet they just need patience and to learn a different kind of life. Remember these animals are scared too.”
“This is the cutest pet shop I've ever seen! The treats all looked good enough to eat (and convinced my very picky girls). When I mentioned to the owner that one of my pups has lost several teeth, she went in the back and found a softer version of the treats I selected to make sure all of my pups could enjoy them.”
“Original [1 Star] (5/14/24): The store was understaffed and the only person who could get shrimp wasn't around. I had to ask another employee and she just ran around the store yelling for the guy who could get the shrimp. I also paid for 10 shrimp and the guy said there were 10 shrimp, but when I got them home there was only 9 in the bag. There wasn't any sign of a shrimp being eaten by other shrimp, he only gave me 9 while saying there was 10.
Update (5/24/24): Bill B., the store manager, emailed me (5/20/24) and offered to replace or refund the cost the missing shrimp. I stopped by (5/23/24) and the employees confirmed the email and got me a replacement with no hassle. While I still believe the store is understaffed, the management and employees were nice enough to replace the shrimp. It's nice to see that management cares and the employees won't give you static over fixing a problem. I'm updating to 4 stars.”
“They always have what I need and mostly have what I want. They are always friendly and welcoming but most importantly, they actually do have adoption rescues that they care for and pet health clinics. I always donate to them and not other pet stores because I can see the wonderful work they are doing.”
