I usually come here just to get gas with the speedway rewards discount and most of the time I just use my card. I will very occasionally use cash when I have a lot on me that I just want to get rid of. Anyways, every time I come in with cash later in the evening theres usually only one employee that looks to be in his early 20s. And every time I have to interact with this employee he always gives me attitude and gives me the vibe that it’s such a burden for him to have to do a minute long exchange. I get working retail is exhausting. Dealing with the general public is an absolute nightmare most of the time and I would know this because I work retail myself. But in order to succeed in retail you need to put on a nice face and just grit through it. When I go into any public facing store, I expect the absolute bare minimum in terms of service and even though it’s just a gas station, there needs to be a certain standard set for everyone. I shouldn’t feel bad or like I’m a burden just because I want to use cash at a gas station simple as that.

I went to the speedway in Ballston spa to get gas and a few items in the store.I purchased a scratch off ticket which won 100.Proceeded to cash it in and had the cashier scan it.After being scanned the employee said he had to call "Makayla" who was the evening manager.She rudely saidcI am not cashing that, our policy is to not pay out on scratch offs and I should go somewhere else to cash it.I took my winning ticket and went to Stewart's to have the ticket cashed.Then to my surprise they said the ticket was invalid because it was already cashed at speedway, with the terminal number on the receipt. Now I go back to speedway and explained this to Makayla.Once again with a very condescending and rude attitude said she couldn't do anything about it.Now I'm out 100 and speedway made a 100 profit. This employee is very rude and probably stole my 100. Beware of this employee.I will be making a complaint to Corporate and hoping there is a reasonable upper management person to look into this.No more of my business goes to this store!!!

Decent station prices on fuel are usually lower here. The place needs to be kept better though. Washer fluid containers with squeegee,s are always empty or no squeegee at all. Paper towels always non existant especially by the diesel pumps. They have kero here for anyone needing it just a fyi never in 8 years had any diesel issues here.

wonderful service, the kindest and most helpful staff i've ever have had at a gas station and i don't expect much. a shorter girl with dirty brown hair was extremely nice and kind to me when it was a bit busy. my go to spot

Nice place to go clean and the prices are better than some others and then they have a good variety of snacks and drinks.
