They have this really cool new system where it's impossible to actually let a phone ring and speak to someone. Instead you have the privilege of calling 15 times and leaving 5 voice-mails to be ignored for several days. Customer service at its finest ??

Almost evert time I went there for my prescription refill, they said I had to wait for half an hour or be back in an hour. I dropped that. I canceled and switched to RaidAid. They don't respect other's time.

Absolutely awful pharmacy! Despite having 3-6 employees behind the counter, prescriptions are never refilled when promised which is concerning since medicine can literally be a matter of life and death. A few recent interactions of note:-My employer changed insurance companies. I presented my new card to Duane (who I am happy to hear has retired!) and after putting the information in twice, he got fed up with it and told me to go back to my employer as something was wrong with it. I did so and they gave me a printable card with the same information on it, assuring me it was accurate and reflected the information our previous provider used. When I went back, there was a younger pharmacist who took the card and did have trouble with it but instead of throwing his hands up, he continued trying and eventually was able to get my information updated. He told me sometimes they have to run it a few times for the system to take it, especially with names that have non-alphanumeric symbols like mine.-The pharmacy is always out of stock of the birth control I take for managing symptoms that can be debilitating every month (I have been on this prescription since I was a teenager). I have to be incredibly proactive about making sure it gets filled well before I need it or run the risk of them being out of stock on a medicine I have been taking every month for decades. I realize there are shortages but that they can’t fill my actual prescription or at least supply a comparable brand when I have a prescription they know is coming up every month is ridiculous.-2 weeks ago when I went in to pick up a prescription that was supposedly ready, the staff behind the counter were chatting away about their weekends. When one did come up to assist me, I was informed it wasn’t ready. I showed them the text message and app that both said it was and the girl blew it off as “that’s just our automated system, we’re 6 days behind for processing”. Absolutely insane! 6 days behind on filling life-altering, life-saving medications? Perhaps they wouldn’t be 6 days behind if the employees weren’t talking as much to each other and actually working to fill prescriptions which are promised at specific times.I’m generally a very patient person, but this last interaction was my last straw. I will be canceling out my prescriptions and going to a different pharmacy.As for the store itself, I haven’t really had any problems with it aside from them now expecting you to use the self-checkout. I much prefer having another human assist me to make sure everything is done correctly and I can ask questions if I have a concern.

Awful, if it wasn't for the fact it's the only pharmacy in Batavia that can get my meds, I would go somewhere else. Went into the store to pick up Friday night and the person ahead of me was "flagged" to talk to pharmacist, instead of asking him to step to the side and wait on the other 6 (yes six customers) they left him there and the tech walked away. She never said anything to anyone else, just walked away. After 10 minutes four of us in line left, all complaining.Not the way to run a business. Can't wait for my time to be on these meds are done so I never have to go in there again.

Batavia ny cvs is hands down the WORST pharmacy on the planet. They won't answer their phone, prescriptions sit in "pending" status for weeks unless you call to have them "expedited", rudest workers, and overall a headache anytime something is needed.

Do not go here!!! The pharmacy is horrible. Staff are extremely rude and the pharmacist, Dwayne is very unprofessional. He thought I was on hold, but just put the phone down and was talking horribly about me. I don't care if you are having a bad day, we all do. Just changed pharmacies. And called corporate. I gave one star because I had to, otherwise it would be zero. There are so many other pharmacies to choose from.

TERRIBLE PLACE!! Pharmacy techs are rude, the pharmacist condones their behaviors, they hang up on you, won’t check out any store items you have to purchase at the pharmacy counter, or transfer your prescriptions to another pharmacy for you because they lie and can’t keep their promises on when they will have prescriptions filled.I have a 6 month old baby born at 29 weeks with major respiratory issues, and the medicine is for his breathing problems, the girl HUNG UP ON ME when I asked her to transfer my sons scripts out. So I drove up there, and as I walked up to counter, the same little girl, Kaylee, was BRAGGING to a co worker, how she just hung up on a lady. Her co worker responded with, “warranted”! How UNPROFESSIONAL!! I complain to the pharmacist and he CONDONED THEIR BEHAVIOR!!I called in a complaint! I BELIEVE THEY ALL SHOULD BE FIRED!!Let one of their children go without necessary breathing medication and get treated like that trying to get his medications.. UNACCEPTABLE!!

This CVS location is just terrible. Had prescriptions called in from urgent care. I decided to wait a few hours to make sure they would be ready when I got there. When I did get there weren't ready, fine I had some grocery shopping to do. I was assured that when I returned they would be done. I went back 40 minutes later and I was told it would be another hour. This type of service is ridiculous.

Pharmacy is horrible. Can’t call, sends you straight to voicemail, store app dose not give you options to message pharmacy. Pharmacies lunch is from 1:30 to 2:00 but is is really some after 1 till sometime after 2.Take 2 weeks to fill one of my daily meds has left me with out my Medication for a week.Going back to Walgreens, tried this CVS for 3 months and have been extremely disappointed EVERY TIME I USE THIS STORE.Do your self a favor and us a different pharmacy.

Litterally been waiting 3 months for my prescription to be filled understand there a shortage but everytime more comes in there supposedly out and say first come first served but been waiting 3 months. Wait on hold for 45 minutes to and hour . Also when I do talk to employee get hung up on because asking how I can get it filled when then they get more in very unprofessional.
