I have had nothing but trouble, DO NOT BUY FROM HOME DEPOT. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT!!!! I have had nothing but trouble since ordering new countertops and a sink in April. The first installation date was cancelled because we discovered our cabinets were not level. Ok, that’s understandable. We had a contractor come in remove the existing counters and level the cabinets. I tried to reschedule, had trouble getting through to Solid Surfaces and when I did was told it takes 1 week to schedule install dates. (???) We finally get another install date and discover that the sink we ordered from Home Depot is damaged. Told they cannot move forward until they have the actual sink so that they can make the cutout. Reorder 2nd sink , damaged again. Same story. Pick up 2nd sink and deliver to Solid Surfaces who call a couple days later to tell us that the sink is damaged. Back to Home Depot to reorder again. Asked that the sink be shipped directly to Solid Surfaces and am told they cannot do that. Must be shipped to our home or the store. Said we were going to be out of town and didn’t want the sink shipped to our house or sitting around the store because of the possibility of damage. The person ordering who said he was a manager told me he would make sure the sink was delivered to Solid Surfaces if it came in while we were out of town. While we were out of town I receive an email from Home Depot with attached drawings asking for approval and with an install date. Yay!! Everything worked this time. WRONG. The sink did not arrive but the worktops had been cut. Remember I was told they could not be cut unless they had the actual sink (more than once). Then I receive an email from Home Depot telling me the sink is backordered. After calling I was told delivery would be delayed until at least September or October (took over 2 days to get this answer). I am now told that my options are to choose same sink different color (won’t work), or have new counters recut for an additional cost of almost $1900.00. I have met in person with Home Depot on 7/29, left a voice mail on 8/1 and sent 2 emails. Phone calls to store are useless because they can never connect to a person in kitchen design or voice mail. Even tried to speak to a store manager and was told there isn’t one there today and the assistant manager was at lunch at 10:50 this morning. DO NOT BUY FROM HOME DEPOT. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT!!!!

What happened to customer service? I did my due diligence, went online confirmed you had 2 of the item that I wanted to purchase, came to the store immediately, went to the Department, could not find my item. Went to a second Department, could not find the item. Asked a store associate, could not find my item. Went to customer service, the associate confirmed there were two items in stock in the store. Directed me back to exactly where I looked and the product was not there. I told her I already looked in that department, and her response was I don't know where they are then. I then drove to Valu Home Center asked an associate, found it, and they loaded it into my car.

Batavia Home Depot is definitely a value to the area and not just for the obvious reasons (contractor supply, grills, fixtures, lawn equipment and furniture galore) It's also a fun, friendly place 94% of the time with events, workshops and a all around great staff. Do I know why they sell cute LIVE potted cactus with neon plastic flowers glued onto them? Nope, CAN'T say that I do - But I CAN say that their seasonal selection is second to none, they have insane sales and incredible value for your hard earned dollar. Down side, hate to be a Debbie downer but it goes from one of two extremes every time you vist: 1. You are stuck aimlessly wondering about looking about the aisles for sales associate's to help you that are harder to track down than BigFoot (Seriously, where are they hiding, in the fridges in the appliance section? Cause that's about the ONLY place I HAVEN'T looked yet)... OR 2. You can't go two steps without being asked if you need help (sometimes several times by the same person even when you've assured them that you're alright) or end up getting followed everywhere by an associate failing horribly at looking inconspicuous, which can be a bit unsettling and creepy. Just a thought, be aware and attentive and try for a happy medium in offering customers assistance ? Just a thought...

Oh where do I start with my Home Depot Experience I had today....so my husband and I went in to the Batavia Home Depot today and spent almost $2000 on flooring. They bring the pallet out to my van to load it and this is where it went south. The kid on the forklift lifted the pallet with the forks under my van lifted my van off the ground and tore off part of my bumper. As if that wasn’t bad enough we got about half way home and I noticed that my husband who’s a army veteran

Pretty standard Home Depot, offering all of the home improvement items that you would need for a DIY project. The employees are very friendly and willing to help when you need direction. Good selection of lawn mowers and appliances.

Home Depot is a pretty standard home improvement retail store that offers most everything you need for the do-it-yourselfer. This particular store has always been very good with product selection and customer service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the store is kept very clean and organized. My go -to for home improvement supplies and gardening materials.

Love this store, always have great service. And I love the fact that they honor the military with a discount. We shop there often, especially the garden center.

I came in to buy a $200 pallet of mulch this afternoon and was denied the veterans discount on the basis of my military ID being expired. I apologize, Home Depot, that my service in Iraq during OEF is not sufficient for your appreciation. After I finish waiting for the next 45 minutes for your fork lift operator to get off of lunch and decide to come load me up, I will be sure to utilize your stores and deal with your incredibly awful and disrespectful customer service as infrequently as possible.
