“Ah Marriott. You own it all and yet somehow have lost a step or two. It’s to a point that I look for only new or recently renovated hotels.
Driving? Fairfield is a save bet but well this one. Things falling off the walls. Big room no furniture. Breakfast staff don’t event speak. Just an odd vibe.
Usual good beds and clean but man how I wish Marriott had kept their standards when they started buying everything. I think Bill would be shocked at the lack of consistency.”

“First off, I love "off the beaten path" places that are on the far-opposite side of the pretentious spectrum. This place is affectionately known by locals as "The Mogadore", which is synonymous with the North Pembroke hamlet where its located. Since I gravitate to dive bar type places, this would have gotten 5 stars if it weren't for their very limited menu and cash-only policy. Still, they're a solid 4 starts based on: Cozy atmosphere, friendly-as-can-be service, and their wings are nothing short of awesome (2nd best in county, I'm told!). French fries were darn good, and I also hear their Friday fish-fry is excellent as well. In summary, The Mogadore / North Pembroke Hotel is a local gem that has been around for 50 years or more, and that's because it keeps it simple and focuses on their strengths.”
“I have seen alot of bad reviews!! But however this is my review!!! The room is very well cleaned. Beds are comfortable! They have a continental breakfast! As long as there is coffee I'm okay with it! The hallways are looking great overall very, very clean! It's quiet there! The folks at the front counter are extremely nice and pleasant! Outside parking lot is neat and clean! Close to many things!! We ( myself and my husband) are staying here for work purposes! Not to mention the jacuzzi was nice and clean would definitely come back over and over again! They deserve a 5 star ?”
“We stayed here July 28 through July 31, 2024 and highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were updated, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. They were constantly cleaning floors, windows, etc. The breakfast area was nice and clean and the food was fresh. We'll be returning next year!”

“Always a very convenient place for a big rig to stop for the night. Right off the highway with tons of truck parking. Edit 2 years later: things have gone way,way, down hill. It's almost intolerable to stay there now. Dirty, smelly, many rooms have maintenance problems. The hotel houses long term residents which causes or adds to issues. It's too bad, as it was a great place to stay for my business needs. I needed to find another place to go.”
