About Genesee County YMCA
The Genesee County YMCA is a beautiful, spacious, clean, and bright new facility with fantastic equipment. The building is gorgeous inside and out, featuring a fantastic new pool, a walking/running track, an e-gym, and plenty of exercise equipment, bikes, and treadmills. Class offerings have been expanded. Staff provide great and exceptional customer service, with kindness, patience, and a willingness to go above and beyond, making visitors feel genuinely valued. Some building issues need addressing, and parking can be a big downside and a bit challenging. The shared lot makes it difficult to find close parking, especially for those who are handicapped or with limited mobility, though this is expected to improve. The splash pad is geared more for a younger age group. As a branch of the GLOW YMCA, it serves youth, teens, families, adults, and seniors, welcoming everyone and building community regardless of the ability to pay.

I have only attended two times due to learning though my insurance carrier that I can visit two YMCAs. I usually attend the Lockport YMCA. I honestly love them both and feel blessed of having the opption of two YMCSs

This place is great! Everyone I've spoken to, whether it's at the front desk, the pool, the gym, or the adventure zone, has great customer service!
I'll add that Charles and Emma are very thorough lifeguards!

It's nice. I just hope they don't let people ruin it. This is a public place, not your living room.
