I owned a 2021 Equinox and received a letter from Chevy saying that I could trade in my vehicle early and my remaining payments would be waived. When I showed the salesman the letter he told me, OK we can certainly help you out with that. After speaking with him I wanted to downsize to a smaller car, so he explained about getting the Trax. The sale was made after a few hours. Three weeks later I received a statement from the loan company and realized the amount was very high. The loan officer explained my loan was for the full purchase of the car, even though I'm leasing it, and the early trade-in deal was not honored but rather added on to my purchase. When I called my salesman he said they don't waive any payments..Why wasn't I told that at the time of my purchase, instead of taking my letter to say sure we can help you with that? Then I explained about my exorbitant loan and he said he knows nothing about the bank and will speak to the finance manager and get back to me. Never called me. I called the next couple of days and neither the salesman nor the finance guy answered the page from the receptionist so I asked to speak to the manager. Some guy named Joe gets on the phone and after hearing about the early trade-in deal said I had no equity on my car to do that. My car never was in an accident, not even a ding, very clean and 14,000 miles-so how come it had no equity and why didn't they say that at the time of sale? "Joe" then said, "No one forced you to buy the car". Right, no one did, but if the salesman was honest about the no trade-in deal I would have thanked him and kept my old vehicle for another 6 months that had a much lower payment. Joe with a very rude and unprofessional attitude said "There is nothing I can do for you and I have a floor of people I need to attend to" and hung up on me. So I guess after they make a sale there is no more reason to treat you respectfully as a customer. I've been leasing vehicles for the past 12 years and have never been treated as disrespectfully as this place and they are not truthful. Atlantic Chevy is not a place I, nor any of my friends or family will purchase a vehicle from.

My husband and I were looking for a bigger car for our family, we had an amazing experience here all THANKS to Lawrence!!!! When we first arrived, nobody was rushing towards which is typically what you experience at a car dealership. We had the opportunity to walk the entire lot, see what we like and didn't. Once we were ready, Lawrence was there to help us and guide us in one of the best decisions we could've made. He helped us to stay open minded and consider a vehicle we would've have considered otherwise just because we didn't know we would like it. Lawrence listened to what we were looking for in a car and made his recommendations. At the end, Lawrence went ABOVE and BEYOND in helping us get the car of our dreams. Buying a car literally took longer than a day at work. I went to this particular dealer because of a printed advertisement stating really good deals. I arrived at the dealership at 9:30AM. The negotiation process took forever because the dealers didn’t even know what the ad said and I had to keep saying that they are interpreting their own ad incorrectly. Negotiations took at least 2 hours. After we agreed on a price, I did not actually drive out until about 6:00PM. Why did it take 8.5 hours to buy a car? No one seemed to care that I was in their waiting room for 6.5 hours after I purchased the car. The only positive was the dealer Jordan. He wasn’t pushy and really did his best to help us.

I feel compelled to share my recent experience with this dealership in the hopes that it might be helpful for others considering their services. I purchased a Chevy Suburban from them a few weeks ago, and while the initial sales process was pleasant and the staff were friendly, the subsequent interactions have left much to be desired.Initially, I encountered a minor issue with the temporary license plate's effective date, which led me to reach out to the service department for assistance. Unfortunately, my attempts to communicate and resolve the matter have proven to be quite frustrating. Despite numerous emails and phone calls, the situation remains unresolved.In an effort to avoid resorting to a negative review, I tried multiple avenues to reach out for assistance. However, my interactions with the service department, particularly with Meghan Gallagher, have been less than satisfactory. The communication felt hindered by frequent interruptions, and my attempts to correct the mispronunciation of my name were in vain. The interaction felt confrontational and not in line with what I would expect from a customer service representative. Moreover, Meghan declined to provide her last name and even hung up on me during the call, which I found to be rather unprofessional.What really surprised me was the overall tone and demeanor of the conversation. The experience left me feeling unheard and disheartened. It's important for others to know that the positive faces you encounter during the sales process can quickly fade away once the deal is done. Unfortunately, the willingness to assist and provide quality service seems to diminish after the ink is dry.I also agree with the reviews that mention the discrepancy with the cost that is agreed upon with the sales rep and what is presented at the time of signing. I take responsibility for being too trusting and not being more diligent while reviewing paperwork. However, I caution others to be aware.My intention in sharing this feedback is to provide a comprehensive view of my experience. While I initially had hopes of being a repeat customer, the post-sales interactions have left me with reservations. I believe that open and constructive feedback is vital for growth and improvement, and I hope that this helps the dealership understand the areas that need attention for a more consistent customer experience.

Our sales man was very easy to work with. We asked him if they had the exact car we were looking for, and with no hassle he told us their inventory. I didn’t want to make the trip from the south shore all the way out East for no reason. After we put the deposit on the car, we went back 2 days later and all the paperwork was done. We were in and out in an hour tops. It was the quickest and easiest transaction for buying a car that I’ve ever dealt with. Needless to say, I would def recommend them over any other dealership. Zero stress, no hassle, and up front, def my type of people.

Zero stars if it were possible, after a change of my work situation. I no longer needed to purchase a vehicle. This bunch have held a $4000 deposit for over two weeks now. Telling me excuses like it takes 5-6 business days to return the money onto a debit card. But then yesterday was told it could be done instantaneously. Nothing they say at this dealership has any honesty behind it, basically crooks...

So, I wanted to buy a Chevy Trax but needed a car by July 6th - just about a month away - because we were going away. I was assured the car would be delivered by then and I gave them a $500 deposit. I asked them not to run my credit until the car came in. They ran my credit.For the ensuing 4 weeks not one person ever reached out to me to offer an update on my car. I called and spoke with my salesman who assured me he would keep me apprised. He never called. I went into the dealership and spoke with him, He gave me a cursory update and I left. I called a few days later and was put through to his voicemail. That happened again a few days later.On July 5th, I bought a Trax in stock from Arnold Chevrolet in a seamless, professional experience.I contacted Atlantic to get my down payment back. I called and left multiple messages with live people and on voicemail for both my salesman and the credit manager. I never heard a word back.I emailed them requesting my down payment back and never heard a word. No reply to my email.Last week I entered a dispute with my credit card company to recover my $500. Absolutely shameful way to treat a customer.Go to Arnold Chevrolet and stay far away from Atlantic.

The team at Atlantic Chevrolet was very friendly and helpful.The most important thing was they had the Vehicle I wanted in the exact color I wanted. Bob Sparaco returned my initial call in fifteen minutes with my request and set me up with my New Chevy Trail Boss in about an hr. I was recommended to him from a friend and with good reason. I'll be sure pass the recommendation forward.

Buying a car for me is next in stress only to a dentist appointment. This is my second vehicle with Atlantic Chevrolet and I can honestly say that it was painless. My salesperson extraordinaire Nadia DiDonato made the process so easy that I was able to relax, educate myself and pick the vehicle that was right for me. I have owned many cars over the years, from many brands. This was by far the best experience that I have had since I switched to Chevy, Atlantic and Nadia. No issues, no pressure and a great deal for a returning customer. Who could ask for more? Highly recommended.
