I owned a 2021 Equinox and received a letter from Chevy saying that I could trade in my vehicle early and my remaining payments would be waived. When I showed the salesman the letter he told me, OK we can certainly help you out with that. After speaking with him I wanted to downsize to a smaller car, so he explained about getting the Trax. The sale was made after a few hours. Three weeks later I received a statement from the loan company and realized the amount was very high. The loan officer explained my loan was for the full purchase of the car, even though I'm leasing it, and the early trade-in deal was not honored but rather added on to my purchase. When I called my salesman he said they don't waive any payments..Why wasn't I told that at the time of my purchase, instead of taking my letter to say sure we can help you with that? Then I explained about my exorbitant loan and he said he knows nothing about the bank and will speak to the finance manager and get back to me. Never called me. I called the next couple of days and neither the salesman nor the finance guy answered the page from the receptionist so I asked to speak to the manager. Some guy named Joe gets on the phone and after hearing about the early trade-in deal said I had no equity on my car to do that. My car never was in an accident, not even a ding, very clean and 14,000 miles-so how come it had no equity and why didn't they say that at the time of sale? "Joe" then said, "No one forced you to buy the car". Right, no one did, but if the salesman was honest about the no trade-in deal I would have thanked him and kept my old vehicle for another 6 months that had a much lower payment. Joe with a very rude and unprofessional attitude said "There is nothing I can do for you and I have a floor of people I need to attend to" and hung up on me. So I guess after they make a sale there is no more reason to treat you respectfully as a customer. I've been leasing vehicles for the past 12 years and have never been treated as disrespectfully as this place and they are not truthful. Atlantic Chevy is not a place I, nor any of my friends or family will purchase a vehicle from.

My car is 3 years old and I dropped it off for an engine light and within 8 hrs it was ready for pickup after changing an emissions part. I know people may have mixed reviews depending on their experiences, but this was great service. I recently dropped my wife’s car at infiniti just 2800 miles on the car 24 hrs no phone call not even a diagnostic. Great job, and this may make me repurchase from Atlantic Chevrolet in the near future!

Zero stars if it were possible, after a change of my work situation. I no longer needed to purchase a vehicle. This bunch have held a $4000 deposit for over two weeks now. Telling me excuses like it takes 5-6 business days to return the money onto a debit card. But then yesterday was told it could be done instantaneously. Nothing they say at this dealership has any honesty behind it, basically crooks...

So, I wanted to buy a Chevy Trax but needed a car by July 6th - just about a month away - because we were going away. I was assured the car would be delivered by then and I gave them a $500 deposit. I asked them not to run my credit until the car came in. They ran my credit. For the ensuing 4 weeks not one person ever reached out to me to offer an update on my car. I called and spoke with my salesman who assured me he would keep me apprised. He never called. I went into the dealership and spoke with him, He gave me a cursory update and I left. I called a few days later and was put through to his voicemail. That happened again a few days later. On July 5th, I bought a Trax in stock from Arnold Chevrolet in a seamless, professional experience.I contacted Atlantic to get my down payment back. I called and left multiple messages with live people and on voicemail for both my salesman and the credit manager. I never heard a word back.I emailed them requesting my down payment back and never heard a word. No reply to my email.Last week I entered a dispute with my credit card company to recover my $500. Absolutely shameful way to treat a customer.Go to Arnold Chevrolet and stay far away from Atlantic.

In February of last year 2022 I put a down payment down on a Suburban. I will save you the boring details of how I never ended up with a Suburban, but well over 1 year later and I am still trying to get my $500 deposit back. I have called frequently. I have left reviews. My last review got the attention of a manager named Mike who asked me to email him my information so he could look into it. I have emailed him multiple times, never getting an answer, never getting a phone call back. I have called Atlantic Chevy MULTIPLE times, I mean I call pretty frequently and when I call and ask for Mike he is conveniently never in that day. When I ask when he will be in no one ever seems to know, and I get redirected to his voicemail where my messages go left unanswered. All I want is a phone call back. All I want is my $500 back. It has been a year. I'm not understanding why this has been such an issue. I am a pretty understanding person, but this is getting out of hand. It feels like maybe they're hoping I'm someone who will forget about it and give up which I won't.

Purchased my 2019 XT4 on January 7,2023. I put a deposit on the car and Atlantic Chevy held that $500 for ransom and charged another $500 when my bank reversed the first charge. IT WAS JUST TO HOLD THE CAR. Took a month to resolve the issue. Cashier's Department? Incompetent. My husband and I noticed condensation building up in both rear taillights. I have been literally going back and forth from lindenhurst to bay shore every week! They replaced 1 tail light but refuse to replace the other side because they claim they held a cold hose to it for 20 minutes and nothing happened. They want to see the car actively have condensation in it to replace it. This past Saturday I was running errands and low and behold the tail light starts getting condensation. After taking pictures even tho the service department say pictures are no good (even though their time stamped and dated), I immediately called the dealership and spoke to Evelyn. She said to bring it down and she will take pics of it. This dealership got me risking my life to try to get the evidence over to them before it dries up. I am risking my life and everyone else's on the road driving like a maniac to prove to a dealership I just purchased a car from that this issue is really happening. we complained to corporate and I even tried to message the owner of Atlantic Chevrolet, MR. CHEVY himself, but he doesn't accept messages on LinkedIn. Do you all see the theme? DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. They hold your car with no plans to fix anything, leave you with no transportation week after week, corporate does nothing to help, no one returns phone calls or emails. Be prepared to get an attorney!!!!!!!!!!

I think Ahmed should take some lessons from Paul and Henry! Top 5 star reviews up the waazoo! Unfortunately I got him. He's non existent in customer reviews going back almost 6 months. And I surely know why after dealing with his totally unethical comments for only 15 minutes. I've bought 34 new cars from over 20 dealership in my years. This experience was disgustingly a first! I didn't know it was proper for a salesman to tell a potential customer that "ALL that matters is putting as much money in MY pocket as possible!", "This is Capitalism." and "I'm not trying to save you money." Thats verbatim!! You should be embarrassed!

Great service.. Gina is fantastic.. so many times in the past buying new car has been stressful just from the sales process.. Not here.. i actually almost gave up and was going to put off buying a new car based on other dealerships that I went to, but after dealing with Gina I knew I would be coming back to give her my buisness..I can honestly say I was very happy.. I would definitely, no doubt go through them again and would suggest anyone else looking to give them a try before going anywhere else.. So far they definitely have a future customer in me…I am making recommendations to my friends and family to go here for sure…and if their service department is as good as sales it will be a home run

I dropped my vehicle off on monday at 730am for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation, didn't get my vehicle back until Tuesday at 130pm. A day and a half for an oil change and tire rotation is completely unacceptable. The advisors all lie and string you along. Last time I use atlantic cheverolet for service. Do yourself a favor and find a honest local mechanic instead of using these hacks. All dealerships are the same. PATHETIC.Service: Oil change
