“Although the "1-800 number" told me that the branch close to me would have tellers available, they were wrong and the branch was closed. I bank at a few banks but could not find anything that was available on a Saturday. I went to the location at the MacArthur airport where another customer told me that the Bay Shore branch had employees working on a Saturday. I arrived, waited on line (moved fast) and explained my situation to a teller. He was not interested in assisting me and was quite short. I did not like his attitude and chose to speak with the representative at the lobby desk. I met with Fanny Mendez and she was outstanding. Fanny was patient, kind, helpful, and her main goal was to offer excellent customer service (unlike the teller that I originally met with.) A company should want people to brag about them and I am comfortable bragging about Fanny. She should train people on how to treat the clients that bank with you. She spent so much time with me and although I could not take care of what I intended to (no fault of hers,) I am glad to have met her and worked with her. I believe in providing both negative and positive reviews and I would have given a "5" but the teller had a poor approach to customer service. Thank you, Fanny. I hope you all stay safe and healthy.”

“I'm rating the customer service at this specific location, not Chase in general (although I find them much better than other banks most of the time). I came in with a frustrating debit card issue due to me changing my mailing address in the same month that my debit card was set to expire. When I called the 1-800 #, not only did they end up *cancelling* my current debit card when it was still okay to use for 2 more weeks before expiring, BUT they then said they couldn't help me over the phone and I had to physically go into a location to order a new card AND change my address. And yet she still canceled my current card for no reason? Anyway, the bank teller Steve and the banker Eric were both extremely helpful, understanding and very friendly. Highly recommend them. I understand experiences may vary when it comes to visiting locations, but when I'm moved to write a positive review after a good experience, that definitely means something. Give these two raises.”

“I have 4 Stars because Capital One is lacking in bank branch locations. Otherwise, always a smooth transaction. Bayshore location has drive up and indoor ATMs available 24/7.I also like that many ATMs are free for cash withdrawal when not using the bank and there's an option at the bank to pick specific "bills" when getting cash out of the ATM . You can customize your cash withdrawal bills to fit all needs. They even have $1 options.”
