If I could give zero stars, I was there at 1:26 in the afternoon and they told me they were closed for lunch when the sign clearly says 130 I was not able to come back. The woman shouted at me from the back saying that they were closed and then I said you’re really gonna make me come back for four minutes because it’s not 130 yet and she said yes! I do not appreciate having to wait when there was nobody Behind me, they could’ve helped me quick. There was one lady paying in front of me and she was done. There was no reason to tell me I could not get my medication.

Worst service. Pharmacy doesn’t care about patients’ needs. They don’t bother to call patients if there is any issue with medicines. They do not carry lots medicines but other CVS stores carry those. Example “ Xigduo” even you get it from them every month. You have to go the store and request to order it and wait for several days to get it. In case you find out you ran out of refills then you need to go to your doctor and get refills and start over again. Interesting thing is that they will not inform you and they will not order it until you find out and go to the store then they will order it. They don’t care about your needs. If insurance doesn’t cover it still they will not inform you. You have to go to the store and find it out then ask your doctor to write alternate medicine. Of course they will NOT call the doctor. By the way, if you have two insurance coverage then they will use which one has more copayments for you. I live next to this 1401 Brook Ave, Bay Shore pharmacy. But they are forcing to moving my all medications to another pharmacy preferably non CVS.

Why does this store only have one person doing everything. In a cast no less. I waited 15 minutes to get one item because it was locked behind a case. I never write reviews but that is ridiculous. Absolutely horrendous showcase of management.

This CVS is very unprofessional and rude. I can’t even go shopping without a worker behind my back and asking if I can pay for it. They don’t even ask if I need help, they think everyone is stealing. I always run into problems with the two Spainsh women workers, barely speak any English but can scream “You pay now!”, not happy with my experience every time I need something from the store.

There is always a 10-15+ person line for the pharmacy. The "cashiers" will send you to self check-out and just stand there waiting if someone needs help or if you do need help, you will most likely not be able to find an associate to help you.

The pharmacist there is the worst. She’s always rude and don’t even listen what you’re trying to explain. Always lie about prescriptions and she’s in a bad mood all the time. That’s the worst place ever I’m not going there anymore

A pleasant CVS with fully stocked aisles and quick check out. This CVS has a nice atmosphere.

Today is Saturday, November 4th, 2023. I visited this CVS location to buy some cough drops. Upon checking out, I noticed that there was only one cashier. He was helping two people at the cash register. That's great, but a place like CVS should have more people at their registers. The self-checkout is a plus, but I needed further assistance that would be very brief. I did not like what the cashier said to me. Before he said what he said, he directed me to the coupon station that dispensed about ten coupons. He said all you have to do is read it. It is not that complicated. Wow, it was interesting that he would say that because if the shoe were on the other foot, he would be offended. I have been to other CVS locations, and those pharmacies have the same technologies and innovative solutions to assist customers. Still, the cashiers are very helpful. And they efficiently checked my rewards via my phone number, and the results were simply yes or no on available coupons. Whereas this guy simply didn't exhibit any courtesy and professionalism.

This review is solely based on my personal experience with the lead pharmacist Manpreet. After speaking with my grandmother she shared that she went to pick up medication and the wrong medication was handed to her after her doctor failed to remove it. My grandma explained this to the receptionist who then called for the lead pharmacist, Manpreet, to assist. My grandma then shared that Manpreet grabbed the medication and threw it into her return bin on the floor with an attitude and then continue to scold my grandma by saying it’s the doctors fault and that the pharmacy should have been notified because now it was already packaged (understandable). However, my problem is with the way my grandma was spoken to considering her age and the fact that this problem was out of her control. I went back to address the issue personally with Manpreet and was greeted with the same tone of voice and attitude from the very beginning of the conversation. According to Manpreet my grandmas was wrong and she has “7 other employees who were witnesses because they dealt with my grandma first.” After going back and forth Manpreet ended the conversation by telling me that “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” and that she would no longer speak to me because I called her attitude disgusting, which it in fact was. I’ve seen the way they’ve spoken to others in this pharmacy; this is not their first and I’m sure it won’t be the last bad experience.
