Gardiner County Park is a 231-acre nature-oriented public park located on the Great South Bay in Suffolk County, New York. The park offers a variety of activities, including bird watching, hiking, nature trails, and fitness trials. It also features a large off-leash dog park and a bathroom facility. Visitors praise the park's beautiful scenery, ample parking, and pet-friendly atmosphere. However, some note that the restroom can be locked on weekends, and the marsh area can be difficult to navigate during high tide. The park is a popular destination for both people and their four-legged companions, providing a serene and scenic escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Beautiful park with a long clear path to tona beach. Not a swimming beach but great views. Lots of easy parking

Great place to walk dogs, picnic, etc. Beach is hit or miss, depending on tides and erosion. Bring bug spray and keep dogs in middle of the trail to avoid ticks and poison ivy.
