Origin Of Era is hands down the best boutique on the Island, a comfortable, cozy, and amazing woman-owned shop with a hip Brooklyn vibe. It offers a great assortment of beautiful, quality, and really well-made clothing from interesting small designers, featuring Bohemian style and beautiful dresses. The store has something for everyone, including a lot of options for different body types, alongside gifts, candles, and jewelry from small and local makers to cater to any budget. There are reasonable price items as well as more pricey designer pieces. The owner is terrific, beyond nice, very welcoming, very sweet, and a delight. She is never a pushy saleswoman but is helpful, hands-on, and goes above and beyond. She provides honest opinions, styles you, and makes you feel comfortable, acting as your shopping bestie. She sets up treats while you shop, hosts events, and will even alter items on the spot. Her expertise in styling fashion to suit the individual is above and beyond. This little gem in Bay Shore is an experience, and if you have not visited the shop, hurry up and plan a visit.
