Walked into the store and the employees were standing in a circle talking. Smelled a few fragrances and found some I actually wanted to purchase but no one came up to ask if I needed any assistance. Even after making eye contact with an associate. The store wasn’t very busy and the fact that nobody asked if I needed any assistance turned me off. I’ll just make my purchases online.

The perfume area of the store was quite lackluster with a number of perfume bottles being empty or missing caps, meaning they weren’t even able to be sampled. So are they just there for show? :/ So I moved onto makeup products and this is where I first peeped my main issue, they had the smallest collection available for D. Myricks products which is what I came to the store for. The associate said the bigger stores have a bigger selection, but the store was not a small store, so it’s more of matter of the preferences of the manager. So I moved onto Fenty and I liked two products, but really wanted a second opinion. I went to an associate to ask if they had anyone else who looked like me, a Black woman, who could be of assistance, since nobody knows Black skin/makeup better than Black employees, and she said they had NO black people on shift at the moment. Out of 6-7 employees on the floor, all of them were white or Hispanic. Which, as a Black consumer, is really disappointing because the store staff should reflect the diverse market to which they’re selling their products to. If a white or Hispanic woman went into the store they can get advice from someone they can relate to, but a Black woman cant?! I call BS. So - naturally, I addressed this with a manager who was … unfriendly as SOON as I asked if she had anyone Black on staff at the moment and I told her why I needed someone Black for feedback on some products and found it important, and you could tell by her reaction that she very much was uncomfortable or thought little of the importance of my concern. As a manager, you heavily influence the way in which your associates are staffed and so I wonder if there’s a deeper reason for why there were NONE. I won’t be going back to this Sephora store for these reasons.

Me and my friend went to Sephora yesterday for a couple products at first this worker came up to us and she was tall, black, and has black hair asked us if we needed any help we politely said no and went on with shopping after 5 minutes we started to realize that the worker wouldn’t stop following us like we were trying to steal or something, then when I went to go look at perfumes see went up to my friend got into my friends face and asked her if she was ready to check out and my friend very politely said no and excuse me after she then came up to me and did the same thing me and my friend go very uncomfortable and decided to check out this was a very poor experience and I’m very disappointed and upset about my experience.

Me and my friend went there to buy some stuff we were looking and an employee thought we were stealing she followed us all the time even asked me if we were ready to check out I said not and she called security we told the other employees but they acted like if this didn’t happen they were like are u sure it’s our store.

Just had the worse experience ever. They don’t let you explain fully what happened, they cut you off when your speaking and they make you feel like what you have to say doesn’t matter!!! All they care about is getting you out the store!! I suggested something and they said that goes against policy because she said my phone had poor service. Meanwhile what I suggested is what they did. Then the one manager lied to my face not once but twice. The one girl that was helping me left and she said that she was called because they needed her for something else. Meanwhile, she was just standing there didn’t talk to anybody wasn’t helping another customer, wasn’t doing anything just standing there so obviously that was a lie. Then I asked her who her district manager was and she said that she did not know.

Great store. There is a girl that works there, Hailey, she was very helpful finding the correct color of Armani foundation & concealer. She really took her time, very patient & POLITE. And yes, foundation & concealer is perfect!

I wrote a review yesterday for another store here by accident. Let me talk about how the experience here. Yesterday was amazing, my friend and I got superb customer service and was taken care of by Ben, he was so nice and knew what to recommend to my friend and we both got items from NARS was the best service I had all day

a lot of products were out of stock and they had a blonde white male working there that was watching us closely like we were stealing i spend over $200 even though he made me so uncomfortable that whole time i was shopping. i felt like leaving my purse with him so he would leave me the hell alone and let me shop in peace. this location sucks i wont be returning

Yesterday I went shopping with my friends the girl was so unpleasantly bitter I asked her for help looking for a product she didn't help me I don't understand why they hire people like that the clients are treated with love not that way I will never go to Sephora again I always love going from yesterday they were treated so. Bad, no, the super angry staff makes a big face, and if you ask for help, they get angry, im sorry, Sephora, you should hire better employees and provide good service.
