“Having Jenny and the team do my bridal alterations was one of the best choices I made for the wedding. Jenny very attentive, kind, flexible, and detailed oriented. She helped me fix many parts of my dress without an additional charge because she really cares about making clothing beautiful. You could really tell that she has such a great passion for what she does and making brides feel special on their wedding day.

When I last minute (the day before) decided that I wanted a veil, she offered to drop off a veil to my house to borrow. I was in awe of her kindness and desire to take care of me as a friend rather than treating me as just a client as many other wedding vendors do.

“When it came to me knowing what I wanted for my wedding the list wasn’t that long. Other than magnetic save the dates the only other thing I KNEW I wanted was a Christie Lauren headpiece. One of my brides had one for her wedding and I immediately fell in love. We went to the Manhasset store during a sale they were running, and their professionalism and hospitality mannerisms were beyond anything I would have expected.  Everyone there was so nice and helpful! “I was personally taken care of by Alberto Insua at this location and felt very welcomed by him. I was very nervous about going into the Rolex dealer that was also attached to and working with London Jewelers. He was warm with his welcome and took me through the models. He did not try to upsell me on models that were too expensive but he also made sure to make me feel comfortable in the fact that he did not think that money would be an issue for me. I was only 23 and I thought that the experience would be a lot more judgmental because of all the videos of people online in other dealers. However, I can say for sure that they are not true this man was the pinnacle of understanding and professionalism. I would highly recommend making a special appointment with him specifically for your first watch purchase. I was able to find the specific type of model of Rolex that I was looking for that day at the London Jewelers, and I look forward to being able to buy more with Alberto again in the future if he is still there.”

“Fantastic! I purchased my dress from David's bridal and reading about the horrific reviews (as well as alterations i wanted) i found Marina on Google maps. She was super accommodating with the time and helped me with everything I needed. She bustled my dress and added on embroidery on my dress straps (the straps were plain and davids bridal told me I had to purchase my own embroidery for them to put it on). She also was able to steam out my dress which I was very worried going to a place I had no idea about. Overall, Marina was very helpful and knowledgeable. Also, she used to be a bridal dress seamstress so SHE IS an expert!”

“My wife and I went to Sai Bridal for our Nikkah outfits, and we had such a great experience that we went back again for our reception outfits as well. Honestly, this is one of the best desi bridal shops in New York. If you are looking for any bridal wear, this is the place to go.

They specialize in custom outfits, which is what really stood out to us. They show you a wide range of designs, and you can choose everything from the color to the type of work you want. They really bring your vision to life.

For my sherwani, I went with a simple design, but they added a lot of subtle sparkle that made it stand out without being over the top. For my wife’s dress, the pictures honestly do not do it justice. It was incredibly sparkly, the handwork was flawless, and it completely stood out. When she walked in, everyone was amazed. It truly looked like a princess dress and came out exactly how we wanted.

They also make sure the fit is right. I needed some adjustments on my sherwani to make it a bit looser, and they handled it without any issues. They take proper measurements and make sure everything fits well.

On top of all that, the pricing is unbeatable. For custom work of this quality, you would expect to pay much more elsewhere. The quality alone makes it worth it, and the pricing just makes the experience even better.

The customer service was excellent throughout the entire process. There is a reason we came back, and this is honestly the only store I trust for outfits like this. We are excited to see how our reception outfits turn out and will definitely be sharing pictures once we get them.

“I had the pleasure of visiting this store based on my aunt's recommendation, as my husband and kids needed Indian attire for an upcoming wedding. Given that they don't typically wear such clothing, we were keen on finding affordable options without compromising on quality.

Upon entering the store, I explained to the attendant that we were looking for a kurta top for my daughter. Without hesitation, she assessed my daughter's size and preferences, guiding her towards a selection of tops to try on. The changing room in the back provided a comfortable space for her to make her choices. Eventually, she settled on two beautiful kurta tops, one in pink and the other in yellow, each priced at a reasonable $35.

Meanwhile, my husband was assisted by the same helpful attendant in selecting two sherwanis. The store offered a variety of options for men, and with the attendant's guidance, my husband found exactly what he was looking for. He ended up purchasing one blue and one beige sherwani, with a special deal of $65 for one or $100 for two. Both sherwanis looked absolutely stunning on him, and he couldn't be happier with his choices.

Overall, our experience at the store was fantastic. The attentive and knowledgeable staff made the shopping process smooth and enjoyable, and we left feeling satisfied with our purchases. Not only did we find stylish Indian wear for the wedding, but we also didn't have to break the bank to do so. We'll definitely be returning for future occasions!”

“I bought a set of Limoges china from a neighbor and wanted to purchase bowls and coffee mugs to replace the old fashioned handle and saucer ones (which I'd resold:) Phil, the owner,took the reins of my order and through his many years of building contacts w vendors, he called me immediately back w a quote and the time frame needed to have my items custom made from the Limoges/Havilland factory in France. I placed the order on Sept 2021 and was told it would ship in Feb 2022. Sure enough, Phil called me this week and my mugs and bowls arrived in immaculate condition to my apt in NYC all the way from France. A big WOW, you just can't get excellent service like that from many places anymore. I am so happy that I chose Imperial China. Top notch.”
