Bayside Sephora employees are incredibly helpful. Last week an employee went above and beyond to help me find a product I was seeking. In the end, she helped me make a quick online purchase that was delivered to my doorstep. I’ll be heading back there soon.

I had a wonderful experience getting a full-glam makeover with Carolyn for my wedding! Carolyn had no idea she was doing a bride’s makeup until I sat in her chair. She didn’t panic — she just smiled and got to work. She created a full-coverage look that felt lightweight and looked flawless in photos. She was kind, funny, and extremely talented.

Matthew Matthew Matthew!! I can’t say enough about him. I don’t usually leave reviews but he has been the one helping me everytime I went in from finding ideal shades, products, and more. Everytime I see him he has always been so open to helping me and I know it’s gonna be a good Sephora trip if I see him. We need more Matthew’s🩷

I came in to return a fragrance I got by mistake for not reading the label correctly. Since the second I asked for help Valerie did absolutely everything she could to help me find everything I needed. I thought maybe cause it wasn’t a big purchase she wouldn’t put much mind into my purchase how it has happened in other times but Valerie did absolutely EVERYTHING. Her knowledge and kindness truly made my day. Thank you for being so kind and caring!

Not very helpful associates. When I described a product that I saw online- the woman handed the wrong item and walked away before I had the chance to tell her it wasn’t the product I wanted.

After reading the previous negative review, I feel that it is imperative that I share my experience as well. Me and my friend visited this store earlier today. Since the sephora sale just ended, i had a few new products that i tried over the last few days and needed to return some items. The girl at the cashier, Venus, accepted all my returns except for one item. She then went to the store manager, Valerie, and returned back to me stating that the item could not be returned. This was the Sol de Janiero spray bottle, so she then proceeded to show me the original bottle and states that the color was not the same. She did not ask me any questions, she just looked at me in disgust, as if suggesting that I was lying about my product. She did not follow up with any other suggestions as to why a counterfeit product was sold to me. a I am a Rouge member, which I know she saw. Her tone, demeaner, attitude, and customer service skills was disturbing and unprofessional. I was still feeling very uncomfortable 30 minutes after I left the store, so I called the store to ask for the name of the employee. The store was not busy at that time at all, so it made no sense as to why the manager took a really really long time getting back to us. I had the phone on speakerphone with my friend, and we could hear bickering in the background, as the manager was struggling to let us know the girls name. It seemed like she did not want to share her name, but after several times of us, she shared her name as well as her cashiers name. The zoom In my last 15 years of being a loyal sephora customer, i have never left a store feeling humiliated like this. as someone who worked in the customer service based industry for many years in the past, this experience is the worst I have ever witnessed. if you do need to visit a Sephora, please take the trip to Forest Hills, where the customer service has never disappointed me

I’m a regular customer but yesterday I was there looking for shades and liners the girl was rude and condescending. Not going in there , you don’t treat customers like that I also overheard a mom saying the same about staff being rude . If I was in that business I’ll come and be as polite as possibly it doesn’t cost anything to do that you are there because of us the shoppers . I know she was Spanish with black hair I did not see her name but definitely she is in the wrong place.!
