“Customer service is excellent and it's easy to find items. The cleanliness has deteriorated from when I started shopping. Now the entrance carpet is dirty and has stains, the produce section is not as tidy as before and there are spill marks even by the tellers.

“Store is neatly organized cannot hate on that. But you got some High ahhh prices on items that ISNT expensive in other stores. Either way it will make any smart person go to another Grocery store. 64 ozCran grape shouldn’t be almost $7 a bottle especially if it’s concentrated juice and non organic yall are tripping fam. Also GET RID OF THE SIMPLY PRODUCTS. that stuff is POISON and they are being SUED right now in court(Manhattan ). This grocery store needs to fix their prices ASAP or they won’t do well this year in sales and it will only get worse.”

“I had an amazing experience as I was shopping. My favorite part was going to the Bakery. There was a lady who was the manager of the bakery. Her name is Trinity. And also there was a guy who worked there and his name is Deon. They were both very nice, respectful, well mannered, helpful , patient and helped me look for what I needed. The bakery was also nice and clean.”

This is the best grocery store I've shopped at across all levels of food budgeting, as someone who grocery shops weekly, I limit myself to $50 a week while shopping and majority of the times I get all that I needed and still come up $5 to $10 under budget.
Produce is always on point, bread selection is A1, and the meats and cheeses are always hitting!”

“I could not be happier with the delivery service and all the staff involved with that, from the manager, Steve, who took my first phone order (when I was desperate during COVID for certain items missing from my large grocery order elsewhere), and had the items to me in 30 minutes (!) . . . to the woman who has taken my order over the phone the next three times . . . to the delivery people -- all VERY nice. Free local delivery over $50. Cold cuts are fresher than the bigger store, and fresh bakery rolls also great.”

The different types of food all depends on the demogrsphics (what races of people are living around the supermarket).
For example, the more Korean people or the more people who buy Korean food products, then the more Korean food and products.
I need the same amount of Korean products that are in a New Jersey State Food Bazaar in this East 171st 3rd Avenue location. Thank you.”

“I had a great experience at Walfood Supermarket today. I accidentally dropped my precious bracelet, and their wonderful cashier found it on the floor. Instead of ignoring it or pretending it was never found, the staff held onto it for me. What impressed me the most was how cautious they were with returning it—they asked for detailed information about the bracelet, including how it looked and the brand, to make sure it went back to the right owner. I really appreciated their honesty and diligence. This level of customer care is rare, and I’m grateful for their trustworthiness! Highly recommend shopping here!”
