It's unfriendly. Is the unfriendly person working at the counter the owner? The manner in which he answered questions insincerely showed no courtesy or respect for the guests.I really have no idea when I see the attitude of treating employees poorly.I deeply felt that my personality was at its lowest. And, it's too expensive.I think $10 including tax for a cup of tea is too expensive. This is the first time I went out for tea and left feeling offended by the owner. Is it because there are no competing rice cake shops? It's a place I never want to go again

A place where rice cakes are usually prepared for events.Recommended for its luxurious taste and appearance. This time, I ordered a rice cake (dutup rice cake) because it was a special person's birthday, but I was a little disappointed because it was almost like Baekseolgi and not the thick rice cake I was used to.

Yedang’s fresh mugwort injeolmi is so damn delicious! Every time I go, the owner is friendly and the rice cakes are all delicious, but I don't understand why the rating is so low... They also sell porridge, so if I'm not feeling well in the future, I want to try porridge here.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I really want to share this. I wish they had been more friendly towards customers. Every time I visit, their unfriendly behavior leaves me feeling really upset. Definitely overpriced!!

When I was visting Koreatown in Los Angeles, I got introduced to Sikhye (Korean sweet rice drink) and it was refreshing and delicious. Yedang is one of the few places in Northern Queens that serves Sikhye. It's in a bottle and it's good

I ordered about 50 orders of rice cake boxes for my dad's birthday. I was shopping around for prices but decided to go with yedang because of how helpful they were on the phone and accommodating. On the day of, the rice cakes were packed very well and of course, delicious.

Came to give Korean rice cakes to my aunt who lives on Long Island. It's not as high quality as Korea, but it's hard to find a place like this in New York. The packaging is very pretty, too.

Even with inflations taking into considerations, the price of their items has gone up significantly (20-30%, I think?), and the size of their items has become noticeably smaller... Taste is okay.

Korean rice cake store at bayside. NY Their rice cakes are expensive but they are high quality. I like injeolmi the best. I also made ddeokbbokki with their galeddeok and it tasted very good.

Absolutely disgusting customer service! Not sure how this place is in business. The owner lady is super rude and nasty. Her attitude is extremely terrible, I don’t even understand how she can expect to run a business the way she does. You can get just as good items from Hansol or any other catering spots. I would rather give my money and business to someone who actually respects and appreciates their customers. This place is despicable! I absolutely agree with all the other negative reviews and will never step into this store ever again! After today’s awful and disrespectful experience I understand why people have told me to stay away and will make sure to tell everyone I know to do the same!

Their korean traditional "dduk" is very tasty and the Ginger tea was magnificent.
