“My wife and I were drawn in from across the street by the surveillance distortion TV installment in the window. Then we saw Tattoo shop. I have been putting off getting my terrible tattoo covered up. This was a sign! I now have a sleeve from Bradley. The vibe in the shop is very inviting. Chill areas to think about your choices in life,LOL. I went in the back garden, looked at some of the art installations in the gallery, and then got in the chair and blasted off with my new friend Bradley! Shop was busy because everyone there is talented.”

“BAU gallery has featured the creative efforts of so many artists in its monthly shows in Beacon, New York throughout the years. Every second Saturday from 6-8 pm there is a town-wide open studios event and opening for a new exhibition. The gallery has a good mix of paintings, drawings, experimental work and ceramics. There is always something new to see there.”

“My wife and I did a beginners pottery class for our anniversary and we had such a good time! It was both our first time ever using a wheel but Brielle was helping and hanging with us and she was wonderful. Super helpful and made our private little class so much fun. We went back a few weeks later to paint our creations and Ranch was there to hang/help us out with that and again we had a really good time. The vibe at the studio is perfect..laid back, fun.. and everyone there was great…and both of us made 2 pieces each that we really love! Very happy we decided to try something new and even happier we found Silica Studio.. the whole process was fun and easy thanks to Brielle and Ranch!! Highly recommend!”

“If you go to Beacon, it's a beautiful place worth visiting. It's a place where you can experience glass crafts and also purchase items. There's a small gallery on the second floor, and that's worth seeing. Although I might hesitate to buy it at the high price, wouldn't a beacon be a good souvenir to remember New York?”

“We walked in this incredible shop because we saw a sign in the window that said “Opal’s for October” which is my daughter’s birthday and we went in. So many unique stones and jewelry! Many stones I’ve never even heard of! The owner is so helpful and sweet and her prices make it so everyone can get a little something to remember their trip to Beacon. My daughter and I got matching rings and an Opal necklace.”
