Went to Luxe to get some glasses adjusted. The whole staff, especially Mikey, went above and beyond to help us. Mikey was professional, attentive, and extraordinarily competent! I had tried and failed to get these glasses fixed by multiple stores, but only Mikey was able to do it. Highly recommend this place for their glasses and service.

I would like to thank the entire Luxe team for their exceptional standards and profound expertise and dedication to their craft. I have been purchasing my eyeglasses from Luxe for years, and every single staff member has a wealth of knowledge with regard to the latest technology in optometry, lenses, and eyewear. They only curate the top of the line products and their product knowledge is extremely impressive. Each optician is a master at their craft, and their passion is to blow customers away with the best lenses and frames that will literally change their lives and bolster their life goals. Every doctor does a remarkable eye exam and listens carefully to your concerns and gives you the best advice and guidance with regard to your eye health. This review is a few years too late, but needs to be shared nonetheless!
As someone with poor vision since a young age glasses were a necessity and growing up I never saw the possibility of a fashion aspect to them.I always reserved that for sunglasses in my mind.
My wife shared this store with me after her wonderful experience. From Ryon, his staff down and back up, each person is more wonderful than the last. The attentiveness to customer needs and desires are second to none. From arrival you are included like a family friend or even a family member. Some of the frames may carry some sticker shock, but the quality of glasses offered is phenomenal. Personally, I’ve put my JMM’s through hell and they keep asking for more. Ryon and his staff have made purchasing glasses and eye exams such a wonderful experience we probably visit too often and splurge! Just recently, Mikey helped me pick a new pair and customize it in a wonderful way I couldn’t conceptualize without his professionalism.
We have since moved to the Boston area but we make sure to keep our business with Luxe. If all customer based exchanges were like Luxe’s the world would be a better place.
Bottom line, Luxe is the premier optical store in the Hudson Valley, and their customer service make the trip from Boston more than worth it.

I previously had a great experience here until a few years ago when an eye exam left both of my eyes scratched. It was extremely painful. I went back a few days later and saw the other optometrist and she was very kind and gave me eye drops. She described my eyes as "beaten up". One eye healed but the other eye still has vision problems. I could see great until that day, and now I am stuck with blobs in my vision.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! James Carroll, O.D. survived answering millions of questions with patience and grace. The exam was very thorough and believe it or not, comforting. Next came Michael. Michael, the amazing optician, is a show stopper!! He is extremely charismatic, entertaining and makes you feel like a movie star. On the flip side, Michael aimed for precision when taking eye measurements (down to business). I look forward to my next visit!

Was very impressed with the eye exam then it was all down hill. I went in because a specific brand listed them as a dealer. Got there and it was about 3 different styles. They tried to push frames I had no interest in. Then presented an empty promise to get me out the door. #disappointed.

I popped in to see if they could tighten my sunglasses. Everyone was super helpful! Robert helped me with my glasses and he was fantastic - he made a few other tweaks so that my glasses sat better on my face.They also have a lot of fun styles and I would have spent more time browsing if I hadn’t just bought a pair of prescription glasses already. Definitely recommend and would come back!

Robert was amazing at getting my glasses to fit comfortably and so I didn't have to push them back up when I lean over (I do that a lot). He was patient and upbeat as I put him and glasses to the test, multiple times. And then, perfection!! Such expertise on what might seem to be a minor issue is so appreciated when you wear glasses all day. Thanks, Robert!

I've struggled with my contacts for the last couple of years and thought my eyes had changed and contacts wouldn't work for me anymore. Dr. Mooney fixed a bad prescription and I LOVE my contacts once again! What a delight to have the freedom of contacts again. I'm so glad she didn't just go from the last prescription but spent the time to get my prescription dialed in. I'm so pleased with Luxe Optique with their quality of care and service.
