I want to give feedback about the warmth the gentleman showed my daughter and I today during the scavenger hunt on Main St.
When walking in, the man was inviting, offered bottled water, and their bathrooms if it was needed. We were greeted with kindness and a “we’re family” attitude. It was in such a way, you could tell it was genuine and sincere. It left a lasting impression.
I cannot give feedback based off of buying or selling a home. However, the kindness this gentleman had, i would absolutely use their services if needed. And a shoutout to him is well deserved.

I worked with Claire Browne while finding my first house for myself and my two boys. The experience was seamless; which when it comes to buying a house -from what I’ve heard - almost never happens. I can’t give a higher recommendation of this office or of Claire. I was coming from Chicago to see houses and basically had two weeks to find one before I would have to go home and wait longer. Prior to coming to NY to see houses in person, Claire kept in contact and sent me houses to look at regularly. She was responsive, reliable, and an excellent communicator. She got to know myself and my family and we successfully purchased the perfect house. I received honest and straightforward advice from Claire though out the viewing/buying experience. I enjoyed my time in her care both professionally and personally; she’s an easy person to be with and is incredibly interpersonally intelligent. I really felt like she was in my corner (and on call basically all the time) throughout. Only the highest recommendation.

We were lucky enough to have Claire recommended to us by our son and daughter in law, who had been thrilled with her help in finding them their first house. To say that we were happy with this decision would be an understatement. Her expertise and professionalism were spot on, and we would highly recommend her to anyone needing to buy or sell their house.

If you're looking to buy in Dutchess County, stop right now and call Claire Brown. I'm serious, get off Google and call her.Being first time homebuyers in this market meant that my husband and I were perpetually terrified of being taken advantage of, and absolutely sure we'd be searching for a home forever. We had interviewed a few realtors prior to finding The Gate House Team and were told similar things: there's no way you'll get what you're looking for without paying double your budget, you have to be ready to be as cutthroat as possible, and even then you probably will have to settle--big time.Claire was recommended to us by my husband's colleague, and from the moment we spoke she put me at ease like no one else had before in this entire process. She didn't beat our dreams down and give me an unnecessarily brutal come-to-Jesus talk. She asked me if I knew how strange the market was right now, and when I said yes, she simply replied "Alright. We'll find you something--might take some time, but we'll find you something".Claire did several showings with us, some that weren't even listed anywhere but on Zillow, and advocated for us like we were the only clients she had through the entire process. When we found a home we loved at a price that worked, she went ABOVE AND BEYOND to facilitate the purchase, even communicating between us and the sellers to set up a meet to ask them questions about the house and neighborhood. Every single recommendation Claire gave us was spot on, and her estimates and instincts about issues were never wrong. She was professional in every single way and from the moment we met it felt like we knew her forever. When my father passed suddenly in the middle of the buying process, Claire even went out of her way to handle things locally on our behalf to make sure we didn't have to make the 1.5 hour drive up if it wasn't absolutely necessary. On top of all of this, she would even have us laughing and joking together by the end of every meeting.Because of Claire and Claire alone, my husband and I are homeowners today--barely 4 months after properly starting our search.Not all realtors are knowledgable about every aspect of the home buying process. Few realtors you meet will have your best interest at heart. We wanted to work with someone who would do more than just send us lists of MLS numbers and open houses, someone who would advocate for us every single step of the way and not let us forget a single thing in the process. That was Claire and then some--at no point did she force us into anything that wasn't right for us, and at no point did we feel she was just in it for the sale. Claire truly gives a damn and its clear from the get go. They simply don't make the cloth she's cut from anymore.And if you're still reading, let this be your second reminder to GO HIRE CLAIRE!

We just bought our first home and we could not imagine having gone through the process without Claire Browne from Gate House Team at Compass. From our very first contact to our closing day Claire provided us with unconditional support, guidance and expert knowledge! Claire is reachable, relatable and really listened to our needs and wants when it came to what we were looking for. Claire Brown was my realtor and helped me in navigating the purchase of my first home in a really tough market. There were some really tough moments (problems with one seller and problems with one of my inspectors,m), and Claire was a real advocate for me, and also extremely compassionate in helping me through a very emotional process. She is a no-nonsense person and will give you her honest and very expert opinion, but she also had a great eye for what I wanted in a house. This combination meant I got a house I love, but avoided lots of places with pitfalls I would never have noticed on my own! She gave me great advice on every step of the process. I absolutely love my new home, and loved working with Claire from beginning to end.

When it was time to sell my Beacon home, I chose Charlotte who I have known as a premier local realtor since meeting her shortly after I bought my house in 1999.Charlotte’s professionalism, market knowledge and expertise gave me the confidence that both the price she suggested and the timing of the listing were both spot on. My home listing went active on a Friday and I accepted a great offer two days later above asking.This is the first house I have sold and Charlotte made the experience seamless, she guided me through the process and was always responsive when I reached out to her. I would highly recommend Charlotte and her Compass team.

We just purchased our first home in Beacon, NY and we couldn't have done it w/o Stephanie Dignan. We're from NYC and the idea of owning a home in Beacon was a distant and overwhelming goal. My anxiety lives at a steady 10, so going into this process I needed a unicorn: someone that was going to be part therapist, part expert real estate professional --a jack of all trades. I found all of that in Stephanie. This market was incredibly difficult to navigate. I needed a lot of handholding, constant updates and reassurance. Stephanie worked her magic and in a little over a month we had an accepted offer on our first home in arguably one of the toughest markets. Her recommendations for local activities and restaurants rounded out the experience. All the questions I had were answered in record time. Offers were submitted lightning fast. Once the offer was accepted, she worked quickly so that the process would be completed smoothly and on time. We felt completely taken care of and confident that Stephanie would get us through this process unscathed. She's funny, caring, knowledgeable - just the absolute best. I (not so) secretly hope she stays on as my friend.

June 21, 2021 - What A Disappointment.————————————————-NINFA NICKI MEEHAN and ME:Between a few weeks ago to June 17, 2021, several times I tried to contact several agents via emails, texts, calls and “contact us”, through the “Gate House Realty” website.They were on the lists on the rental properties. But none of them actively responded.I was looking for a home for rent. There were few available rental properties.Then, days ago, I left messages through the call.On June 14, 2021, finally, there was an associate broker named“Ninfa Nicki Meehan.”She contacted me through the text and email. We discussed about the rental home, the price, when I moved in, one month security, broker fee/one month security brokers fees, home’s appliances (like the utilities), and others.My date to move in, was June 18, 2021, that Friday.Between a few days, she did mostly communicate with me. Some details that needed to be clear up that I asked for. She didn’t answer other parts. She skipped the parts.June 16, 2021, Wednesday - she was waiting for confirmation for the appointment from the host (?) / the owner / the landlord.June 17, 2021 - In the morning, Ninfa “Nicki” contacted me and said...“Good Morning, I’m sorry to report that i am going through a family situation that needs my immediate attention and will not be able to assist with your rental search. Good luck.”That ended quickly and shortly.We had just 4 days days ‘together’ via the communication, (not in person) between June 14, 2021, Monday to June 17, 2021, Thursday.——————————-MY WORDS:- I do understand you had to go to your family... but you had to end everything over family instead postponing the days like re-appointment for next day or next week or any days? It doesn’t make any sense.If you still have time for other clients for buying and selling the properties but... you don’t have time for the rental properties that are available immediately?I mean how long will the buying/selling properties take to complete? Days, months, years? (Depending on lawyers, people, the title/the deed, realtors, etc.)Comparing the rental properties? Rental properties could be done within days or sooner, when you are ready to rent and move in.It will be inequality or contradiction if she works (or still works) with other clients, not me or other clients over me.———————-CHARLOTTE GUERNSEY and ME:I contacted again via “Gate House Realty” website about Ninfa Nicki being not available, my date to move in, and others.She replied to me:“I’m sorry but I don’t think we are going to be able to help you. We do have a policy of 2 agents at a time at showings. Best of luck.”————I replied back to her:What a disappointment.Well... Good luck to your company “Gate House Realty” and the future as well.———————By the way, in case, Gate House Realty joined Compass. Two companies work together.——————————Brokers fees, and others seem based on Gate House Realty’s, and their policy, my opinions.—————————-Again, it’s disappointing in the end. We recently purchased a home in Beacon with the help of Kundi Glasson, and we couldn't have asked for a better realtor!As first time homebuyers, Kundi patiently walked us through everything there is to know about buying a home, and was always available to answer questions. She developed a quick understanding of what we were looking for, and directed us towards properties that suited us well. She advocated for us in a very tight housing market, and provided excellent guidance for how to stay competitive. Once we were able to get an offer accepted, she did everything she could to expedite the process, and we ended up closing in record time!We're thrilled with our experience and would recommend Kundi in a heartbeat!

We worked with Kundi Glasson for the purchase of our new home and the sale of our previous homes, and she made what could have been an otherwise unpleasant experience into one of the great joys of our lives.Through every single speed bump and road block in this crazy 2021 market, Kundi was right there by our side with knowledge and support. I don't recommend entering into 4 property transactions at once during a pandemic, but if you're going to do it, do it with these people. Real estate is a fickle business but Kundi and the rest of Gate House are not. They will get the job done.We are so happy with where we are now and would definitely recommend Gate House Realty to anyone!
