If you go to their restaurant you'll see the great view But that takes you over and hour to wait for your food. (Brunch time) not a lot of people but SUPER slow. Also, the food is under expected.

Such a lovely elegant restaurant to the service, decor and food. The prices are extremely reasonable and much lower when we dine in Manhattan; our bill is double in NYC.

This review is strictly for the restaurant. Our entire party was extremely disappointed. The restaurant itself is beautiful, though it lacks professionalism in their service and execution. When looking online it looks as though it's a 5 star restaurant, it's nothing close to that. For the prices they charge the service and food didn't match. The host was extremely unfriendly and lacked class. I dine in high end restaurants often, I wouldn't go back. The food took quite some time and when arrived was mediocre at best. Beautiful restaurant with diner experience at high end prices.

Great views, food is subpar I ordered the rabbit and it was wrapped in bacon but this was not stated on the menu. I do not eat pork so had to send it back and wait 20+ minutes for a new dish. My partner's chicken sandwich was burnt at the end pieces and overly greasy. Better to come for a drink and enjoy the views and eat somewhere else.

Overpriced. Ordered octopus and received one small piece. Drinks not good at all. The view of waterfalls can't compensate for food and price

Walking into the Roundhouse, you can't help but stop and stare for a second at the view. The restaurant sits on the edge of what is essentially some white water rapids and is overlooked by a waterfall around 100 feet away. It was one of the most beautiful restaurants/bars I had ever been to. However I didn't have too much time to stop and smell the roses as I noticed a huge wedding party dressed to the nines trailing just behind me. I got a seat at the bar as quickly as possible as I know the chaos that is about to ensue. Sure enough, 5 minutes later it was me and 50+ wedding guests all haggling for a drink at the bar. I sat and scanned the menu and honestly, I dont know why I even look at a menu these days ahaha I know I'm just gonna fall back on a negroni anyways. It was just me, my negroni, and I with a prime time people watching setting. The superbowl of people watching: One girl making it known to everyone how great sober life is, one guy awkwardly trying to buy a girl he is clearly interested in a drink, a couple arguing about if they should go check on their kids really quick, a fun older couple (the only other 2 sitting at the bar), bartenders getting annoyed with a few of the more sauced customers, 2 single guys talking about the bridesmaids, etc. At this point, the negroni began to take me by the horns. This was one of the strongest negroni's I've ever had. The bitter Campari, sweet vermouth, and herbal gin all fused together to pack one hell of a punch that put me on my ass. I was planning on getting 2 because I was so interested in the live drama show happening all around me, but my one drink felt like 3 so it was time to throw in the towel and BOUNCE. I didn't eat here as I had a dinner scheduled, and based off of the other reviews, I'm happy I didn't ahahah y'all are dragging this place DAMN. I will come back here for another super saiyan negroni one day though. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

This place has amazing views and a unique view of the rushing water. The interior is gorgeous. But, this half of the story. Cocktails and wine are nice. The food had a nice presentation, but as far as taste and temperature not so great. We had the parsnip soup which was bland and almost room temperature. Our entrees trout, lamb ragu, filet mignon, and chicken were also at near room temperature. Also, the chicken was dry. Our server was very nice and attentive. I enjoyed this place, but would probably only come here for drinks and snacks saving my money for a better meal elsewhere.

The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is good, but the food tastes average. However, the presentation is very coordinated and exquisite. If you pass by, you may consider checking in to try it.

Nice atmosphere restaurant, but food came out cold. Inside interior was high-end food worse than take out?At least food needs to be hot I think.

This place is a 2 star hotel masquerading as a 4 star. The staff is unprofessional, the service is nonexistent, and the rooms are equivalent to a run down Marriott inn and suites. Stayed here on a Thursday night - we called ahead to ask for a crib to be added to the room ( advertised on the website ). We checked in and asked for the availability of a late check out ( also advertised on the website ). The host agreed to a noon checkout. When we got to the room there was no crib. Called the front desk and they brought up a pack and play that was broken, then left and brought a second pack and play. It's fine but this is not a crib. We brought a crib sheet at their request and not a pack and play sheet. Also, the curtains fall off their tracks and have to be opened by holding the curtain in the track. Out of three shower heads in the shower, only one had pressure and stays facing the way you point it. These are all things I could look over and chalk up to poor maintenance but that really isn't acceptable at this price range. Then at 11:15 pm after we and the baby were all asleep we get a call from the front desk telling us they made a mistake and need us out at 11 am since a "VIP" is arriving the next day that they forgot about. We are the VIP at this moment. How is that person's money worth more than ours? When told how unprofessional and obviously it was the wrong time of night to call ( and honestly just too late for them ) their response was "we didn't know if it was better to tell you tonight to prepare or in the morning". How about showing a modicum of being a professional host and fixing your own problems? This place is a joke. Spend your money elsewhere.Rooms: Dingy.

The Roundhouse restaurant is located in the namesake hotel overlooking waterfall and serving elegant American fare. We came for a birthday brunch and enjoyed the views as well as the great food. We started off with a basket of fresh baked croissants and blueberry muffins served with jam and vermont creamery salted butter. For mains, we had the lump crab meat eggs Benedict, smoked maple cheddar omelette, avocado toast, and chicken and waffles with a cinnamon butter so good I want to put that on all pancakes and waffles going forward. We over-ordered a bit and also had sides of burrata and sizeable meatballs. Roundhouse makes for an fantastic special occasion brunch with scenic views

Rooms: Rooms were very nice, clean and modern. We stayed on the third floor and had zero issues, everything was wonderful.Nearby activities: So much shopping, eating, drinking! Lots of fun shops to check out, especially vintage shops :)Walkability: Main street is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel which is very convenient. Unless you are looking to go hiking or leave the town, you really don’t need a car, everything is so close by.Food & drinks: The hotel restaurant was amazing, delicious food and drinks provided by wonderful staff. Beautiful ambiance with fantastic view of the water.

Nearby activities: located on the quaint Main Street that has tons of cute little shoppes and very scenicWalkability: finding parking was quick and easy and took us maybe a minute to get to the entranceFood & drinks: absolutely delicious! i would have licked my plate clean, but didn’t want to embarrass myself ? we ordered the lobster arancini special to start ?. the dill sauce was excellent and came with a large hunk of lobster. my partner ordered the filet mignon which was also delicious. i opted for the duck breast, and the combination of the lingonberry sauce, charred brussels, gingered sweet potato and garnished with pom seeds, chefs kiss. choc mousse crunch was divine and beautifully presented.

The Roundhouse has the best food, service, and ambiance in town. The lounge is a great place for a post dinner cocktail.
