Our company Office Manager had one day and time to pick up our PO BOX MAIL - today, Monday the 4th of December at noon. We had yellow slips to pick up packages at the counter. She waited in line and the one clerk refused to see any more people, saying he wanted to go eat lunch. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY, he closed the counter and refused to even get the yellow slip packages. This impacts our business greatly. She had to leave without our packages. Is this the new normal - Post Office is CLOSED in the middle of a weekday for lunch?

zero stars for this office.... not carriers fault.... it's the idiot at the top Louis DeJoy...great job at consolidating post offices in one building miles away from town they deliver to...... having carriers out to 9-10 pm at night....

I have recently needed to visit the beacon post office. On my 1st visit on Saturday 11/5/22 we had an excellent experience with the clerk who helped my wife complete a transaction for a passport. The clerk was patient, helpful and professional! Today, 11/8/22, I had to return for my passport appointment. Again... but with different employees, I was left amazed by the clerks professional and helpful demeanor. Gus called out another employee to help me with my appointment. The clerk who helped me was amazing, kind, Personable and thorough. Every service oriented agency should be taking lessons from these employees . Amazing experience, keep up the great work!

This is legitimately the best post office I've ever been to (and I've been to A LOT. I'd say this is pretty much entirely due to the great employees. Every one of the employees I've encountered there are fantastic - kind, hardworking, competent, helpful. The guy that works there is hilarious. Yes, if you hit at the wrong time, there can be a line, but that just is what it is and of course I can see why everyone would want to go there.

This might be the only post office that allows you to speak to an actual person. I had a package stuck in South Carolina, and it was impossible for me to contact anyone there. I was rerouted to the Beacon post office and they spent well over a week calling SC and trying to find my package. They kept in constant communication with me via email and even called me directly to go over exactly what happened. They didn't need to do that...they weren't even part of the issue, but they still did their best to help resolve it.Super friendly with a fast-moving line. Best post office I've ever been to.

old reviews should be removed. The current staff in Beacon Post Office go above and beyond to support customers. I run a small business. The staff at this location is knowledgable and efficient. Once I left a pre-labeled parcel that was meant for a different carrier. Not only they made the time to call to let us know of the issue, but one of the employee (Philippe) took the time to drop the parcel at the proper carrier at the end of his work day. I am very grateful for the support of USPS Beacon.

honestly ive never had a bad experience here! sure lines are a little long sometimes and ive had maybe one experience with an employee who wasnt the nicest but overall its a great post office!

The hours posted for Saturday window on yelp are incorrect-I was there this morning and clerk confirmed the window is open 9:00 a.m-1:00 pm on Saturday's. Thanks

On Sunday October 6, 2018 I was waiting for a package from Amazon. I received a notification from Amazon that said the carrier was unable to gain access to front door. What had me baffled in this is the fact that my apartment door leads to the street. There is no front door. I stepped outside and there was no notice in the box. The question I have is "Where the heck did they try to deliver my package?" They should just shut this Post Office down. The service cuts and the carriers tell lies.

I have been a customer of the beacon post office for well over 20 years. I've always gotten wonderful, wonderful service from everyone there. Do not believe the haters on here, they must not know how to treat other people. The whole staff at Beacon is always been top-notch, kind and helpful and caring

The post office in Beacon is one of the worst facilities I've ever been to. They are rude and your typical disgruntled post people. They don't scan packages when they pick them up, lose packages and make no apologies or offer any compensation. I have to drive to another city to do my packages because this place is so unreliable and untrustworthy.
