Southern Tier Auto Recycling is an old school junk yard with a good vibe. It is a drive from Elmira on a rough road. Used car dealers get great engines here that work well. Customers get parts, engines, and tires for cheaper and at reasonable prices, though they charge extra for cards. People are very happy with the service and the good condition of the parts.

    Avoid this company. Sold me a used part for $50.00. Found out was available used for $5.00 went to advanced auto and bought NEW for $4.00. They would not take their part back.
