βThis was the experience I had renting a Van! We had some last minute changes for a trip with my church and needed a van last minute. I showed up first thing in the morning and Explained the whole to Gloria (Sheβs the best!) and even though thereβs was nothing available on site she made a few calls and within minutes she was able to make it happen thanks to Gloria, Big Kevin and Cesar The Trip was a success and thereβs wasnβt any delays I Recommend this Place 10/10 ?

βPicking up my rental truck was so quick and efficient at this location. I had originally booked a rental at a different location but their location system was down so when they sent me to this location I was expecting bad news again. Gloria took the terrible experience I was having and turned it around quickly. She greeted my husband and I with smiles and explained the process thoroughly. I didnβt get the gentlemenβs name who gave us the truck but he was also very kind & explained the process throughly as well which we appreciated since having a previous problem with U-Haul. I will definitely be returning to this Penske location.β

βRented a U-Haul cargo van for a move & was not disappointed. The van was clean, had connection for my USB phone charger. The pick-up & drop off was easy & only required a cellphone to take pictures & do everything online. I rented it for 24hrs but only used it for a few & was pleasantly surprised of how easy the return was even after hours. I will definitely rent again!β

βIβve had storage here for a few years and the facility is always nice and clean. The hours they are open are very good. The few times I rent a truck they are good and clean. Their are other storages closer to me but this is the bestβ
βDo not try to reserve online as it seems it means nothing and it's not related to inventory at each site. Call and reserve it so they can confirm they have the vehicle. I reserved online for another location and no one called me, I called in and they told me they don't even carry that model. Also note that they only take cash for rentals which is especially odd as they use cards for holds.
Aside from that, you basically get what you pay for. As others have mentioned the vans are not well maintained. Although I didn't have a problem mechanically, the radio didn't work and the interior was rougher than a Uhaul. It shifted kind of rough and you could tell the shocks were probably at the end of their life. But for what you pay, it's not a bad experience. I rented a Micro Mover and it was exactly what I needed and I saved gas as opposed to the larger vans that you'd rent from Uhaul or Home Depot.β

βOnly reason for why i given this company a five star cuz of a manager at gunhill rd & allerton ave that not only polite, know how to greet people, break down details but he's a one man army machine where if it's ever busy he still make you feel that ur time n business is much appreciated . So the company in general got some decent prices but that fifth star belongs to manager Ray. I recommend the company in general but of the manager at that site in the Bronx i advise you to experience the service first hand.β
βVery accommodating, provided many options with gas refill and and after hours drop off, best experience with a truck rental Iβve ever had, drive from Phoenix AZ and this location was the best location Iβve ever seen from a truck rental point, owner is on top of everything.β
