They’ve been declining over the years but now under new management, there’s a price hike and really bad service. My car was drying under the sun unattended and although I paid nearly $70, they forgot to put tire shine. Big rip off.

Best car wash on Long Island. I drive 30 minutes knowing I’ll be happy with results. Inside is beautiful with a bunch of selections for air fresheners/scents. I’ve never left unhappy! Thank you Ultra Sonic!

NO LONGER SONIC CAR WASH (NOW CALLED EMPIRE). MAJOR RIP OFFI went to Sonic Car Wash consistently for over a decade and it was consistently worth every penny, every time. However this new ownership is out of their mind with their pricing. Just paid $45 (pre-tax) for a car wash to be told that I don't get tire shine and if I want that then it costs $59. Absolutely outrageous and I will never have my car run through this greedy business again.

This car wash is subpar. They did a very poor job on my vehicle. I drove away with bird droppings still on my windshield.Wheels/rims were left dirty as well. Also very odd. They put tire shine on two (2) tires. Not all four (4)In addition they wiped my clean seats with the dirty rags they used in the outside.I still left a tip. It's not the workers fault. It's the fault of whoever is in charge.

I’ve been coming here for approx 7 years and the service was always spotty but good enough. I was willing to take the gamble because the price was aligned with the service; wasn’t cheap but also not expensive. Some days I’d leave feeling like I got my moneys worth and some days I didn’t (50/50). Now this carwash is under new management and they raised the prices exorbitantly without service or facility changes and are trying to force people into monthly plans by making single washes extremely overpriced. Monthly plan prices also raised a lot and unreasonable in my opinion. In addition to the above new management is being deceitful. For example, while at the register I complained about the unexpected price hike and that this was not well communicated and my car was already being washed. There was an employee beside the register that told me that he’d help me setup a reasonable monthly price if I downloaded an app and hand him over my phone. He went thru their app setup on my phone himself and I noticed he sneakily put in some coupon code. When the payment screen came up he asked me to hand him my credit card. Keep in mind that this isn’t the person at register but another random employee outside of register area. I refused and told him that I’d complete it myself as I was uncomfortable handing HIM my credit card on the side. He enrolled me on a monthly plan that was comparable to the original prices I was used to albeit still higher.I walked out to my car feeling validated but something in my gut told me that there’s something still off. They tried to hustle me and likely wouldn’t give in and offer me a decent price that simply so I returned to the employee. I told him that I noticed he put in a coupon code during the app registration. He had not informed me that he was providing me with a coupon. It was sneakily done. That coupon lowered the original price. “How long would that coupon be in effect?” I asked. “2 months” he responded. He neglected to tell me that prior. In my opinion he conveniently didn’t tell me with the expectation that I would unknowingly be changed a higher monthly fee on month 3 and beyond automatically. This new management is clearly deceitful and destined to fail with this new “scam a customer” business model. I’m certain that they will get a large rise in chargebacks which will impact their payment processing account. I imagine that they may want to prioritize the super/exotic car customers with this price hike whom may not be impacted but this will ultimately negatively impact business because those customers don’t like to drive often nor risk damaging paint with frequent washes. Plus in the winter they may drive different cars which don’t require special hand washing.I immediately canceled the monthly plan and deleted the app. I will not be returning and no longer recommend this place because the service is overpriced and new ownership is deceitful. I can get at-home car washing service for a comparable price now. I’m certain customers will notice unexpected charges on their credit cards as would have happened to me after the 2 initial months coupon limitation which I was not properly informed about.I’d like to end this with an acknowledgment and “thank you” to the original management and employees for the 7 great years of service I was given which kept me returning. ??

I am pretty concerned about my car inside cleaning. They did pretty decent job. But the trunk wasn’t that clean.

Went back after being away for the summer. Had cancelled the monthly pass and went back today to sign back up again. The prices raised over $40 a month and $50 for a single wash! No tire shine! Since I was already there I got the wash but that’s it. Never again. What a rip off! I couldn’t believe it and they did a horrible job!! I’ve been coming every week for over a year and never had a complaint after a wash until today..what a joke! How to run a business to the ground 101! Congrats!

Garbage. Change owners, now it's garbage. Every price went up at least $15Never go back there again. When it was Sonic it was fantastic. Never a problem. Love the card 10 washes next one free. Of course they don't honor that. And still they didn't even vacuum the car properly. Even the workers said the same thing, not to get them in trouble. I'll go back to the one near the UBS Arena. Sonic was the best car wash I have gone to.

$55 will get you rude/insulting customer service, being threatened by the manager, and an average car wash. I have been coming here for years without a complaint, haven't been by in a few months, but arrived today to find a short line (which is unusual) and prices that skyrocketed. When I presented my customer rewards card (which was just about ready for a free wash), I was rudely told "we don't do that anymore" without explanation. When I asked why, I was again brushed off and told "we stopped on Thursday." I asked for the manager, Andre, who told me that they were under new ownership and made like it was my fault for not knowing that. I explained that there are nice ways to explain that to customers, and Andre smugly dismissed me. Eventually, he chose to taunt me that he hoped I'd be back. When I replied that wasn't likely, he said that he hoped I don't live around here because they now own all of the car washes in the area "from here to Westbury," and wished me luck avoiding them. Unless you enjoy paying top dollar for abusive treatment, I strongly suggest you avoid this car wash (which is now owned by the Empire Car Wash Group). PS--I tried calling Empire Car Wash Group to speak with them about this, but good luck finding the 'corporate headquarters' number.

I was very happy with the service I had received previously. However, unbeknownst to their loyal customers, the owners recently sold and the prices have jumped dramatically! $50 for an interior/exterior wash! What is even more disappointing is that any washes we had with our VIP Club Cards are now eliminated. No consideration for their loyal customers who helped them build this business. Even less consideration for their employees who are now getting yelled at by irate customers. So sad.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this car wash for the past three years, and it’s still my go-to spot even after moving from Long Island to Queens. The commute is absolutely worth it for the stellar service I receive. I drive a blacked-out Jeep Grand Cherokee, which tends to get dirty pretty quickly, so I find myself here every 4-6 months. I typically opt for their top-tier package—it’s thorough and leaves my car looking pristine every time. While waiting for your car, the convenience of their in-store offerings is a huge plus. They have a wide variety of snacks and an impressive selection of car accessories to browse. Additionally, there’s a fantastic store attached that sells delicious street food and ice cream, which makes the waiting time even more enjoyable.Recently, they increased the price for this package from $45 to $60, but in my opinion, it’s still completely worth it for the quality of service you get. The process usually takes about 45 minutes—from the moment my car enters the automatic wash to when I am back in the driver’s seat after their meticulous manual detailing.Highly recommend if you are looking for a dependable and thorough car wash with great amenities while you wait!

The car wash and detailing services are horrible. The car interior and exterior was still dirty after they were done. The manager came to address my concerns and he cursed me out while in the process. The workers and manager was very rude and unprofessional. I will not be giving this place anymore business.

Please don't do the monthly plan! The place is managed by teenagers and they don't care. My credit card was charged twice the first time I called to speak to the manager and no one picks up the phone. On my return visit, I asked to speak to the manager and he wasn't there I return several times and he was never there. I was charged twice the following month again. I called and returned many times and no answer and the was told the manager/owner was not there. I had to block the charges thru my bank. Also watch your car as anyone can hop in and drive away.

The only place I trust with my vehicle, when it comes to washing and detailing. This place always has a line, and rightfully so. The cleaning process for your vehicle is at least 30 minutes. And I Love that they take their time. They really do make sure to clean every part of the car, and they do it this way every time. Absolutely the best car wash on long island. If you go here and fall in love like me, make sure to sign up for the unlimited car wash service. about 100$ a month and you can come by as many times as you please. 10/10 guaranteed the best car wash in the area.Services: Auto detailing
