I had been car shopping for six months when I stumbled on a listing for a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan GT at Auto Connection. I was looking for a late model Challenger, but I had given up on finding anything affordable with the options I wanted, and since we ultimately also needed a practical car, I decided to check it out - with no expectations - and if it was as good of a deal as it seemed from the ad, I could buy the "fun car" later. After dealing with six or seven degenerate lying scum of the earth used car dealers all over the NY metro area, I had become so accustomed to being baited and disappointed that I approached every car dealer as a lying, cheating, con artist who was going to do their best to swindle me. Well, I was in for a pleasant surprise. Finding Auto Connection was the universe's way of reminding me that my cynical, jaded perspective may have served me before, but you never know when someone righteous will reaffirm your faith in humanity. Paul (the owner) and Connie (his right-hand salesperson) were straight up, honest businesspeople who did the best they could for me: they got me financing at a decent interest rate, were upfront about "dealers fees", made sure the car was in good working order, and answered all my questions honestly. And unlike most small used car businesses, they even provide a 90-day guarantee, which they made good on with no hassles: the brakes had a problem, but they fixed it immediately. After being abused by other dealers for months, I am truly astounded that a trustworthy, honest gem like Auto Connection exists and recommend them highly. Being able to trust the person with whom you are dealing is one of the most important aspects of a business relationship: you can trust Paul Weinberg. He is not like your average used car salesman, who is out to extract as much money from you as possible. Although we encountered an administrative issue getting our out-of-state plates, this was out of Auto Connection’s control. Otherwise, this was the smoothest used car buying experience I’ve ever had. I may buy my second car there when I am ready! In addition to getting a great deal and having a positive experience, it was a pleasure to work with John and Connie. So if you are in wondering if you should go with Auto Connection, look no further – you will not be disappointed.
