I wanted to take a moment to recognize an exceptional employee at the CVS in Bellmore\. His name is Cooper.
Yesterday, I came into the store in a state of overwhelming distress\. I was trying to print photos for a family member who is nearing the end of their life, and I was shaking with anxiety\. I had such severe tunnel vision that I could barely focus on the screen in front of me.
Cooper immediately stepped in to help\. He patiently stayed with me, walking me through every prompt and making sure each photo printed exactly the way I needed it\. At the same time, he never neglected the other customers\. Whenever someone else needed assistance, he politely excused himself, helped them, and then came right back to continue helping me. Watching him multitask with such kindness, patience, and genuine compassion was remarkable.
Cooper didn’t have to spend that much time helping me, but he chose to. In one of the most difficult moments I’ve experienced, he made something that felt impossible manageable. His kindness brought a sense of calm when I needed it most.
As I’ve been sitting alone, processing everything that has happened over the last few days, I’ve been trying to find the good in such a heartbreaking time. Cooper was part of that good. His compassion and professionalism made a lasting impact on me, and I don’t think I’ll ever forget it.
