Being a single mom and living in NY is hard enough without having to worry about an auto shop taking advantage of you... this is NOT the case at Auto Tech. Rocco and his team were so helpful every time my car had issues and walked me through everything! They would accommodate my busy schedule and give me straight no BS answers to my questions and really helped me try to keep my car maintained and safe for me and my son.
I HIGHLY recommend!! You will not find a better mechanic out there! I live in PA now and would still rather take my car to Rocco for repairs because that's how much I trust and value his work! 10/10 you won't regret it.

Rocco, Mom, and Helpers truly embody the term "Mom and Pop Shop." Everyone was very helpful and transparent throughout my brake job. I received my 2010 Lexus IS250 with all new brake pads and calipers and it drives much, much better. I'd recommend Auto Tech to anyone looking for an honest and hardworking mechanic (nowadays, this is so hard to come by). Thank you, all!

Rocco, the proprietor of Autotech, is the rare mechanic whose honesty matches his technical & mechanical proficiency.I have been bringing my cars to him for over 10 years and have never been disappointed.NYC roads are tough on a car and I have given Rocco some tough jobs and he made sure my car was finished and running in "Mint" condition.Hope they stay in business for a long time because it's hard to find a good shop that won't let you down.Services: Auto battery replacement

Why can't government run like this place? Honest, transparent, and lead by people who actually know what they're talking about. Rocco is the best. I'm talking at life, making you a friend within minutes, and with his knowledge and skill set, his passion, for working on cars. I know magic isn't real, but at the same time, maybe it is, because I swear I drop my crap box off with Rocco and hours later , the thing is running like a dream. This place isn't on a main road, you need the word of mouth to keep these people with new business and returning customers. I'm simply a customer, whose been scammed, lied to, and abused in the wallet so many times, that's free finding Auto Tech, I had to do my part to promote the business because oh my god it's such a fantastic change of pace. This shop will fix your car. Will not lie about any issues, will give you options, and charge you the fair market price without ever charging a penny over . Rocco is ... oh man. Rocco, thank you for all the work you've done , the headaches you've saved me, and months and months later, happy to report , the issues you fixed have stayed fixed. 11/10 . Go here. Go here. Fiat? Bring it. VW? Bring it. Your lawnmower acting up? He's got you.

Rocco is truly an amazing human. My family mechanic I’ve known all my life retired and I didn’t know who to go to. I googled around and saw Auto Tech had great reviews so, I decided to take the chance.It’s definitely not on the beaten path, you won’t notice it driving by because , well you can’t drive by lol.But now I see why they stay in business. The word of mouth is true; this is truly a hidden gem in Bethpage.I was so worried about my car. My driver door was having issues and it was causing all sorts of weird stuff ( my trunk wouldn’t open, I couldn’t get gas as the lock wouldn’t pop , my windows wouldn’t work etc ) literally so many things wrong with the door going bad.I took it to Rocco and he genuinely put me at ease. Being a German car, I didn’t know if he worked on them much, some mechanics just don’t.When I got there I saw a few BMWs in the yard being worked on so I knew “ok good, I’m in the right place”Rocco told me what he thought it might be, that he would look at it, give me options and call me.And you know what he had the nerve to do?Follow through.He called me and told me in very Succinct details while still making it easy to understand1) what’s wrong2) how to fix3) and options as he could replace the wires or offered to replace the whole harness which would allow for a ton of other small quirks to get resolved.4) quoted me a low to high estimate depending on how much Volkswagen would charge for the part.Everything was laid out and I went with a plan of my choosing.My car stayed for another day and while at work Rocco called me and told me that it was fixed, how much, and what now works.I was so genuinely happy. The price was what I expected ( I checked around the cost of the part plus Rocco told me his labor charges ) and I can tell you he charged exactly what he should have not a penny more.This family deserves you business. His mother worked with me over the phone to make a payment since I would be at work late and she as well was so helpful , kind, and warm in dealing with me.If you’re looking for a shortened version of this review here it is ;Local mechanic brings clarity and calm to an industry where people might be anxious to deal with someone new.Auto Tech is off the beaten path which means they absolutely only deal with word of mouth and have return customers by providing good quality services at fair prices.I’m sold. Rocco is now “my guy” and I’m truly happy knowing I have again some place I can go to know I’m getting the right fix for the issue at the fair market price.11/10 Auto tech. Go there. It’s great.
