So, I want to preface by saying I don't expect a lot when staying at hotels when traveling for work. As long as I can feel decently safe, the room is mostly clean, and it's realistically quiet then all is good for me. I'm not a fussy or high expectations person.PROS:-the staff I interacted with seemed relatively friendly.-felt decently safe.NEUTRAL:On the website they boast about a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen comes 100% bare, you have to put in a request to get kitchen supplies at the front desk which is fine, just a clearer explanation would have been nice. (We got in VERY late and could not cook any of our food.)-Laundry is $3 per load (so at least $6 to do a medium load +more if you don't have your own detergent) It's okayish, but on the website they kinda suggest it doesn't cost extra, which is a little dishonest.-the quite/loud ratio kind of varied a lot, sometimes it was great, peaceful and quiet. Other times people would be hanging out in the hallways being very rowdy. Often you could hear arguing in the halls or other rooms. A few different times kids were running wild down the halls unattended. Security didn't seem to do much about any of it, so I guess your mileage will vary.-There is no communal lobby hang-out area, no sit-in breakfast area, and no designated communal working area....you have your room and that's it. This is a heads-up if you are traveling with coworkers; you won't have a "second space" to get away to.THE CONS:So, the nitty gritty....It was a very uncomfortable experience, I have never been so disgusted at a hotel before.-MASSIVE amounts of hair on the bed sheets, actual clumps.-Lots and lots of hair on both sets of towels we used during our stay. (So like, 8 towels, 8 washcloths, 8 hand rags) all had hair, and even worse, DIFFERENT TYPES OF HAIR.Gods, the first time I dried off and looked down and saw all the hair, I did one of those little silent screams. I thought it was a fluke but every towel was like that. That tells me they don't clean or wipe out the washer between washings.-The kitchenette has no ventilation vents (or at least in the room I was in it did not have one) So there was a super rank rancid food smell in the kitchen area that would not dissipate. Guys, I have a poor sense of smell and covid made it even worse, but the overpowering smell was gag-inducing!-the kitchen counter, the kitchen cabinets, and the fridge all felt tacky and sticky in a way that made it seem like it they hadn't been thoroughly cleaned.-The only thing that actually seemed clean was the kitchen sink itself, which had a terrible dripping sound that you could not turn off, definitely was annoying to try to sleep with that going.-The floor was gritty with dirt. Actually made the mistake of walking to the bathroom without socks at one point, my feet got black dirt stains.-Lots and lots of crumbs around bed/nightstand/bedside desk.-Tub was dirty/hairy and not wiped out-the TV was glitching out really bad, most of the time it would be stuck in 'mini view' I'll try to include a picture of what I mean.-Crumbs/trash in main hallways that stayed for days at a time.-Hallways have the same putrid smell that is in the room. I really can't stress enough how vile it smells at this location. And saved the worst for last:-A DEAD BUG was found in our bed!!All of these things considered, the stay was way way overpriced considering the poor quality that we got.

I have and will always tell people this is a great place to come and stay at. I want to said the staff at Extended Stay America in Bethpage is amazing. The overall comfort I feel here is because of the staff. The manager Ms. Monique has put together a great team that cares about the clients. Ms. Monique works with you, solve problems a make sure you are comfortably. I commend all of them the assistant manager Jennifer is great, front desk staff Mark, Brandon, Saeed, to the maintenance and housekeepers are exceptional people that has put my mind at ease while staying here. I can say the reviews do not do this hotel justice, because it is great at this hotel and the staff are amazing. The staff and Ms. Monique has been the best in my transition at this time, this is not a hotel in my eyes. This is my studio apartment and the staff have made it a great home to come back to everyday. It is funny because I was just about to contact corporate and checking my email, I see this review questionnaire. I am happy/thrilled to be at this the Bethpage location. To be truly honest the staff and hotel is a great place.Rooms: The rooms are nice sizes, clean, really clean at the Bethpage location housekeeping staff is amazing. It has full kitchen amenities expected for an oven.Nearby activities: It is several nearby activities a google search away, I have seen an Ice skating rank just blocks away.Walkability: If you are a walker, I am not there are several stores in walking distance.

It was as if I was staying in a homeless shelter. When I got to my room, there was hair in the shower, the curtains were dirty, the screen was ripped, the fridge was rusted (or just dirty) the kitchen was something out of 1980, the phone didn't work and I was afraid to take my shoes off in the room for fear they would end up black with dirt. The smells in the hallway were horrible. I will never stay with you again.

Zero stars if I could. This is one of the most disgusting hotels I’ve ever stayed in. There’s permanent residents, and obvious drug use and exchange. Avoid this place at all costs. The hallways smelled like cigar and cigarette smoke. Our room smelled like it had been flooded. The rug felt wet. The stairwells smelled like piss. You pay so much to stay here and it’s horrific. No value for your money.

Rooms are overpriced and outdated. The comforter did not look clean and carpeted floor seemed sticky. Fridge was against the wall and opened the wrong way. The doors can easily be bolted the right way. Reminds me of a motel 6 instead of a $250 a night room. Won't stay here again.

Some of the guests are permanent residents. On the morning I needed to check out I couldn’t find carts to carry my luggage. The carts were in the lobby and the wheels were off of one of them. Staff kept carts from us when we needed to check out. Every time I walked past the front desk no one was ever there. My room was dirty. I used Clorox wipes to mop the floors and the wipes came up black from the dirt. I ended up cleaning the room myself. I needed to extend my stay and they were not able to accommodate us.

Stayed 9 nights and room wasn’t cleaned even once. AC air filters were nasty dirty. Tub faucet drips constantly. Strong urine smell at times in lobby.

I give this place high marks for price and it is a relatively nice place to stay in the market it is in. You can’t beat that it is a nice hotel and moderately priced. I hope their employees make a decent living. The staff is good — Syed is a dedicated consummate professional and manager Monique is an hard worker. They are well trained to be nice to their guests. It is sad that they advertise amenities that they are short on; however, I assume some guests have stolen kitchen utensils and they can’t afford to give pots and pans away. Some allegedly-thieving guest’s probably ruined the pots and pans lending program. The only problem is they advertise that they supply kitchen utensils but, it took me asking to use a toaster in their employee break room before they lent me a toaster. I appreciate the gesture Syed made because he cannot pull pots and pans out of thin air or retrieve past stolen merchandise. Hehehe. I read reviews and I see other people received pots and pans but, they had no pots and pans for me. As soon as I complained about no pots and pans to Jeremy on their customer relations line in Florida my tv went offline. Is this their way of retaliating against me because I called them out by complaining about not getting the utensils they dole out arbitrarily. Maybe they should stop advertising that they supply kitchen utensils. A loud fridge doesn’t bother me because the price point trumps everything. As a result, a loud fridge compressor is nothing. If they change their ads to say kitchen utensils supplied unless we have too much demand—that type of gesture would go a long way. I still give the overall place two thumbs up. And they recently changed the carpet in all of the common areas. The laundry room is a great perk and reasonably priced, to boot!

Stayed here as assigned by my home insurance company: AWFUL: Bed bugs; frequent false fire alarms; poor quality help from front desk staff with a few exceptions. No real attention to customer complaints about smoking tobacco & marijuana... While both are legal on premises; neither are supposed to occur within the building...Management clearly looks the other way! Heat failures during coldest days of winter... Approximate dates of stay mid-Sept. 2021 through end March 2022. Possibility that prostitution was taking place on premises!!!

On check in date, I mentioned to the staff that I will be staying long term (multiple of times I’ve mentioned it will be long term stay). A month later as I was paying by the week like I have been doing, I was told there were no more rooms and I would have to leave, even after explaining to them I’m homeless with 3 kids and that I mentioned it was long term they had no sympathy. So I had to pack up everything with my 3 small kids by myself struggling to travel with everything. Also housekeeping don’t do their job I’ve asked for house keeping to vacuum they told me no

This was the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed. Outside the front door it looked like someone had dumped an entire ashtray of cigarette butts. Carpet in the room was so gross I wouldn’t let my family take their socks off. Never would have stayed if we hadn’t had a long day and were too tired to find someplace else. Got up to,use the bathroom during the night and their were bigs crawling on the bathroom floor. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! This place should be condemned.

Very very bad. Whole night power went out. No back up generators. No front desk. No phone service. Powers returned at 2:20AM. Fire alarms went off. No one was there to confirm safety or shut the alarm, if false. Lost sleep and extreme head ache. Why this brand name hotel turned out to be this bad? Avoid this place, period.

I’m an owner of a 30 year business. Made reservation and put down my personal CC for rez. I was told they CAN NOT charge card unless I was there at check in (which I was NOT going to be) unless I filled out a 3rd party form.. rather than do that I gave employee cash for the room and explained that 2 guest would be checking in after midnight. Gave employee confirmation # and the cash.. he was going to use HIS card when checking in..At the front desk at 12:17am they said the room was gone, he ended up paying cash for NEW room and my original CC that was told they CAN NOT charge it.. was charged in full!!!Extended Stay is THE WORST plus my guys told me the found two dead roaches in the shower!

Nasty and dirty place, broken elevator, front door is taped off, had to enter in through the alley in the back. Broken bathroom handle. The hallways stink, dirty stairways. Nasty room. Not a secure place, cameras only at the entrances. That place is disgusting, try to avoid staying there. If I could give negative stars I would.
