I had my mother ship something from Florida to New York so the baby could have some nice Christmas gifts and the shipment ended up lost, to me, signed for by someone whose address did not match mine. This kind person, realizing it is Christmas time, brought the package to this store where he had been a long time loyal customer to see if they could work it out and get it to the right people. “Normally you know what to expect when going to UPS. Same experience at each one. But this one was different. I was helped by Daniel, I believe he might be the manager. He was courteous, friendly, and made the exchange feel like I was working with a friend, not that I was just another person in line. Most other UPS stores made me feel like I was on an assembly line. Wait in line, do my business, leave. But Daniel went above and beyond to make the experience personal. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. The location also was a one stop shop with multiple services, like passports, mailboxes, etc, not just shipping. I definitely will use this location again, especially if I get to work with him, and I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone who wants excellent personal service.”

“Let me tell you about this store...It is fantastic!
The other day i stopped at the Massapequa store on Merrick Rd. The only reason I sometimes use that place is for Amazon return drop-offs. It's convenient when I shop in the Plaza. I needed to buy a box to ship something, and the price was $10.49. Ok, thought it was expensive but after I paid for it, they said it was out of stock and refunded me. Then went to my usual UPS in Farmingdale and the same exact box was $4.95.... The counter person couldn't believe it until I showed her my receipts. She explained that UPS stores are independently owned without price regulations. She looked them up and noticed that their shipping rates were on average 15 - 20% higher than the Farmingdale store as well.
They are a total ripoff!!!
I suggest that you do all your business at the Farmingdale store where they have always been honest, friendly and efficient!”

“I recently purchased an expensive set of art prints at auction (Rago/Wright) and needed to get them from the East Coast to Utah. The shipping representative at Rago recommended that I solicit a bid from Arrow Express, telling me that they are masters at crating artwork and highly-reliable. I did solicit another bid which was more than twice the price as Arrow's bid and in the end I was delighted with Arrow's skill set, responsiveness and reliability. The works were crated in a hand-built plywood box and shipped to me via UPS. The crate itself is a work of art and the artworks arrived on time and in virtually perfect condition. I had no prior experience in dealing with Arrow but I would give them an A+ rating and would use their services again in a heartbeat. I am attaching pictures of the crate they constructed so that you can see how diligent they are in their efforts. Kudos to Brian and the team at Arrow.”

“I had a bad interaction with a former manager here, and went to other stores for a while, but I stopped by last week and Andrea was terrifically helpful, both finding stock that wasn't on the shelves, and at checkout. Some time ago I had a complicated copying job to turn into a pdf, and the copy clerk was also amazing, though she's not there any more. I think she was about to apply to music school for college. Wish I remembered her name. One drawback is that the branch is a bit smaller than other stores, like the Manhasset one, so they don't have as much inventory, but they do seem to be well stocked for their size, and well run.”

“I went to Staples to return some Amazon items. The person who served me, once they finally came over was nice. But the wait added to my discouragement when he said Amazon no longer gives out receipts. This is discouraging since Amazon tried to take my refund back, stating that they never received the return. They said they would return the money to my account once I (yes me) return the item. I had to call them and complain, and about that. I explained to them the only way Amazon would refund money is if the return transaction went through. How can I return a product that I no longer have? Why did they think I wanted to pay for it twice? It wasn't Staples fault that Amazon stopped printing receipts, but it would be there fault if they didn't handle the return properly. It was just a frustrating experience, next time I suggest creating your own receipt. Take a picture of your product better yet a video of your return being returned. This way you're covered. Otherwise, how do you prove who is at fault when you have no proof, since Amazon eliminated giving receipts. Yes I know they say you should get an email, but what if you don't and you left and no longer have possession of your return? Which is exactly what happened to me.”
