I can’t be more happier than I am with this Keritan treatment I had on Saturday with Bernadette. What an amazing job she did with my hair. It is simply gorgeous. Bernadette was so professional and thorough. My hair looks and feels amazing.She was very kind, thoughtful and we shared great conversations.It made the time fly with by. She never rushed and was very patient to cover every inch of my hair. Best Keritan treatment I have ever had. Thank you Bernadette for all your expertise. I will definitely come back to see you.

So disappointed of this place, came in for a simple layered haircut, the girl was extremely rough with her cheap comb to start it off, she kept pulling my hair she barely could hold scissors right, she gave me the most botched haircut I’ve ever had, the hair had no shape or form and here comes the blow out, worst of the worst! What is she thinking or getting her education. Waste of time and money.

Loved my whole experience (first visit) at this salon. Deanna and Daisy helped me feel like a long time customer. I got a special hair conditioning treatment, and a beautiful, healthy cut that primped up my look and made me look feel great, and HAPPY. Thank you Spellbound! I will be back! 😎

I bought a Groupon from here and the worst experience ever. The lady saw my hair was curly and did not want to do it. She said she was by herself but another hair dresser came out the back. There was only one customer and her hair was not started yet. The Groupon says to walk in and show the voucher and they treated me like I was ignorant for not calling for an appointment. I had to call the police because they were yelling, making harassment statements to eachother while I’m sitting there and I spoke up and they kept talking over me. I mentioned the reviews that was written and they became even more aggressive. I read the reviews while waiting and it said they were known for being racist and treat people badly if they purchase a Groupon. I should have checked beforehand. The blowout, shampoo and deep conditioner was originally $50 but I bought it for $20. I will not be coming back since my money and my hair wasn’t good enough to prioritize and treat me like a regular customer.

amazing service!! everyone is so nice and myriah did a great job on my hair!!! came in with pretty red ish brown hair asked for some highlights in a warm blonde and got exactly that!! completely in love. definitely returning

I have received the worst service of my life. Maria is downright rude and RACIST. She botched my haircut. When i arrived I wasn’t welcomed by any of the members. And i was told there would be additional $15. I sat down and when the stylist came I explained exactly what i wanted a haircut and a style. She started with just the style and when I corrected she said oh I couldn’t understand you. I corrected her twice before she proceeded with haircut. She cut it shorter than I asked her to. She didn’t even ask me how I wanted it styled and did curls anyway. While styling she snatched my hair few times. I asked her to be careful couple of times still she kept going rough and snatched my hair. After the style my hair wasn’t matching on both sides so I asked her politely to correct them and she refused and said that’s how my hair is so she can’t do anything. When i thanked her for horrible job she said “okay miss groupon” She insulted me straight for using Groupon even when i was paying her extra $15 for having long hair. I do not have long hair and I still agreed to pay that.
If you’re going to insult customers for using Groupon then maybe you should stop offering it.
It’s a rundown place run by old white karens who don’t have any diversity and are racist and have zero knowledge on customer service.

I have been going to Spellbound Salon since they opened and have always had a great experience until yesterday and it had nothing to do with the salon or anyone who works there. Two people came into the salon, a woman & a man the woman walked in and was immediately yelling at the gentleman at the desk who then got the manager to go speak to them as soon as the manager walked over to her the woman was just yelling at her, the manager calmly told her to lower her voice but then the man started to get involved and was yelling as well. Apparently, the woman was not happy with a service that was previously done but the way these two people acted was OUTRAGEOUS who walks into a business screaming at people demanding things. They were asked to leave several times by the manager, and the owner for their disgusting behavior. The man was making threats to shut the business down claiming the salon employees were scammers. Unfortunately, the police had to be called because these two were fiercely disruptive, with her yelling, him videoing on his phone yelling and videoing minor children I might add. I tried earlier today to write a review and to my surprise the name of the salon was changed and all the information was different. Just came on here now and it seems I’m able to leave a review now and low & behold I see a few review’s posted clearly by these two individuals bashing the salon. One by the woman just today coincidence?? I think not, I think we all just figured out who the real scammers are here. Perhaps maybe you don’t realize hacking into a computer business account is a felony in New York!
And THE NERVE!!! to say they were bullied and the employees were racist to them!! There was not one racist word said throughout that entire situation. You people should be ashamed of yourselves for trying to hurt a business with such lies! I hope the owner sues you for Slander. Anyway, Once all the ridiculous nonsense was taken care of by the police making them leave I was able to finish having my hair done by Daisy who always does a fabulous job.

I have been a client here since it first originated back in 2013. This is the best hair salon on Long Island, no questions asked! Marcy, the owner, is a doll and she always does an amazing job with her work and her clients. The other workers are wonderful and super friendly as well. They have been through so much the past few years but they always come back strong. Their resilience is amazing, honestly. Bouncing back from several setbacks and being resilient, this is why Spellbound is the most amazing salon on Long Island. And there are several others who would agree with my statement.

I purchased a keratin treatment coupon from Groupon for this spa based on its high ratings there. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not checking Google reviews and trusted Groupon blindly.
I have had keratin treatments multiple times, so I know how they should be done. My Groupon coupon was for $101, but the spa asked me to pay an additional $75, which I did. Surprisingly, they completed the treatment in just 30 minutes when a proper keratin treatment usually takes at least 2–3 hours. Still, I trusted their process.
The real disappointment came after the first wash, 48 hours later my keratin completely washed out, and my hair returned to its original state. When I went back to the spa to address the issue, they refused to even check my hair and told me to contact Groupon instead. When I insisted that they were responsible for the poor treatment and requested a refund, they started bullying me, behaved in a racist manner, and told me to leave their property.
This place is not only scamming people with fake treatments but also racist. Beware!
I am not gonna trust any Groupon reviews blindly from now on.

Had an appointment at 4:30. Arrived right on time. No one greeted us at the front. Finally someone slowly walks to the front. Super unfriendly. Was told no apology running late by 30 minutes or more. I asked what their policy is and if they had my number which they did. I asked if they could have called to let me know they were running behind. The person working there made no attempt to make it right and seemed very disinterested in the whole thing. Very unprofessional and no compassion for the customer or their time. Appeared as if they didn’t even want to be there. Have been a customer there for years. Even had my daughter’s Communion hair done there. Won’t be going back!
