If I can give no stars I would. The most unprofessional pharmacy I've ever gone to. I waited patiently to speak to a pharmacist. The staff said he/she was attending to a customer. I waited an entire hour standing by consultation to them have a rude staff member tell me she was just getting on a call and I would have to continue to wait. I've never had any issues with pharmaceuticals ever. They were extremely rude. Rolling their eyes. Very condescending. I would NEVER go to this pharmacy again. I'll stick to CVS where they treat you like a person and have courtesy to not have you wait hours for a consult with the pharmacist.

Good servicebut does not follow what they claim to have and that is express pick-up. I prepaid but was told they only have one line at the counter even if there was a separate express-pick-up sign at the counter. Intrinsic DLS culture? Scary!

Had a script from massapequa sent to them for UTI. I was stuck on a boat for 24 hours so I was very uncomfy at this time. I called ahead and let them know I was 25 minutes driving away and my regular pharmacy sent it as they did not have the medication in stock. I was assured it would be filled when I got there waited another 20 minutes, was late to babysit my nephew and sat an extra 40 minutes in discomfort. If you need medication swiftly, maybe not the best pharmacy. Have your doc send another script to a different pharmacy.

Best customer service, exceeding expectations.Late night, We needed some OTC meds and Bethpage is open 24 hrs.I placed an order for-in store pickup, expecting to stop by first thing in the morning.Within minutes, I received a call, two of the items were out of stock, Would I mind substitutions.Of course I don't mind, thanks for the courtesy of a call.So for no additional charge, they up-sized one item, and provided a name brand substitute for generic for the other, At No additional charge!And I received the ready to pickup email in minutes.Clean store, professional service.Thank You Walgreens for being there in time of need!!

The pharmacy counter is the most impersonal group if people i ever met. They are never willing to go out of their way to help. There only answer is call your insurance company. I was on the phone with the insurance company and the pharmacist and the pharmacist still said you need to call your insurance company. Humana was shocked with the way they acted. Also, there is always a wait to pick up. I am going to switch to CVS Target Levittown because they are very helpful

I need to switch to the Walgreens in east meadow or Massapequa, despite this location being the most convenient (my insurance doesn't par with CVS) - I recently had a prescription nasal spray sent over. I never received notification something was ready for pick up, as per their automated phone line, there was no prescription for me. Called my dr & was told it would be resent. Ok, well same thing a week later, I received no notification anything was ready for pick up, automated phone line again said nothing was ready for pick up; this time I spoke with someone in the pharmacy who would have it ready in 90 minutes. After 3 hours, I just went to Walgreens bc still no notification anything was ready. Well guess what? The nasal spray was OTC! I was sent up aisle 27 for it & it was locked up. So no one could inform me this item was OTC & no one knew it was a locked up item. This is a disaster of a "pharmacy".

Worst service always! Everyone who works here is miserable ! Photo department mid service this lady decides she has to clock out ?! Ok? Thanks for the help?! Someone else comes over only to tell me product not in stock- but I already effing paid! Mutters under her breath how I didn't need to give an attitude ?! Excuse me ? It was completely unprofessional! Horrible! Need a new pharmacy bc I would never go back here if I didn't have to get my medications - so disgusting and rude! Management should speak to their staff about how they speak to people and their work ethic!

I am at Walgreens now to get Covid Booster. My appointment was at 1150 and I was on time. It's 1222 now and I am behind 4 people waiting for Covid shots. Not one person has been called to get shot since I got here. I asked to use bathroom. I was told that they do not have a public restroom due to Covid. Seriously that sounds like an excuse not to have to clean the restrooms. The General Manager should be ashamed of himself if he made decision to close bathrooms. It looks like I will be here a very long time and I have to go to bathtub badly.

The pharmacist Renee at the Bethpage, NY store was the most caring and compassionate person I have encountered in a long time. I was going through a rough time because my mom died. I needed a refill on a prescription medication and she made sure she moved heaven and earth to get it done. I was undergoing a lot of anxiety because I ran out of my medication and she went above and beyond to help me. Caring people like this are hard to find in today's society. Renee is a kind, caring and wonderful pharmacist. I appreciated her so much that I called corporate to make sure they know what a wonderful employee they have. I hope she gets the accolades she deserves. Her kindness cheered someone up who was very sad tonight. She made me feel like I mattered.

This review covers 4 local Walgreens: Bethpage, Hicksville, East Meadow, and West Babylon pertaining to Covid 19 Vaccinations. When the vaccine came out in January for Seniors it was almost impossible to get a reservation for inoculation from the State run sites such as Jones Beach. When the drug stores received enough to start the process was equally frustrating except at Walgreens. We were told that appointments populated their website at the stroke of midnight and like magic there were no appointments at 11:59 and a minute later you had your choice of dates and times with plenty to choose from. Pick your first dose time and the screen then showed you all the available 2nd dose appointments. Quick, easy and you didn't have to be a computer genius to set it up. The 4 Walgreens mentioned provided first and second doses for me and my wife the reason for the differences of location was based upon our time schedule. In each location we were welcomed in a reassuring manner and paperwork was easy and uncomplicated. We felt all our questions were answered and side effects explained. Definitely will use them again if a booster shot is required in the future.

I wanted to post a review specifically about the photo department. I went to pick up photos on my way to work, and when I got to the counter my photos weren't there. I checked the website and I had never actually submitted my order. Andrew, the young man who helped me, told me to re-submit my order and printed my photos then and there. I really appreciated the speedy printing and not needing to make another trip!

I will never shop there anymore. This morning I went to purchase gifts for my individuals ( I work in a group home with adults with disabilities) Unfortunately due to COVID-19 my individual's aren't able to shop in department store, so we purchase gifts and shop online Now I have purchased gift cards in the past with no issues Today the cashier is going to tell me he hopes I'm not using these gift card for scanning I kept it respectful because I was working and because he went low I wasn't going to go lower I did call Walgreens Corporate office and made a complaint and is waiting for someone to call me back I did feel because I was Africa American he spoke to me in that manner. I hope Walgreens work on teaching their staff professionalism training
