“Only been a couple times. Prices are good, pretty standard for around town. Servers are always kind and wholesomely curious/chatty, without disregarding other customers. Good location for where they are. If not for them youd have to travel at least 10min to another liquor store with higher prices. Glad to have them around! Alot of college housing nearby and them kids need a break! Never had a bad experience or bad attitude from here. Even the other customers are kind and patient. Careful what sports clothes you wear! Hahaha. Just jokes, it wont affect their service towards you at all. Great people! Great business!”
“This past weekend I was in the area for a wedding. I wanted to try some beer from the area so I headed to Sam the Beer Man. I was not disappointed. I asked for a local and regional beer. These guys delivered. Fluctuation from Equilibrium is truly one of the finest beers I have had in a while. If you want the good stuff, this is the place to get it. Strongly recommend if you're in the area!”
“Small but good selection. I asked the cashier if she needed to see my driver's license. She hesitated, almost like she was contemplating. I knew she knew I was over 21, but she didn't know that I knew she knew. So I gave it to her anyway and she glanced. After that awkward exchange she cashed me out and bagged up my whiskey. I'd have given them five stars (simply because they're a liquor store), but when I said 'enjoy your evening' she only said 'mmhm.' It wasn't a snotty 'enjoy your evening,' mind you. I've worked behind counters and know what customers are like. I genuinely wanted her to be happy.”
“Barry, Im assuming who is the owner was very professional and very patient in explaining and answering all our questions. We are visiting friends in the area and my wife loves a specific type of wine. Went right over to this location and could not have been happier. Awesome assortment of wines, whiskey, bourbons to rum. You wont be disappointed. Deserves more than 5 stars.”
“Been going here a while. I now live a decent distance away but still make the drive. Awesome people running the place. John is super friendly and will recommend his favorites. Always has liquors on display that aren't novelties, just good quality stuff, as well as a large selection of best sellers and some cheaper options too. Love this place.”

2026 update: everything is the same! Except the cute guy. He left. But everyone there is just as nice and knowledgeable. I haven't stopped going! Best prices, best hours, best service you will find in town for this specific type of business. Clean place too! Always fully stocked. Even if its not what your used to, its worth a visit!”

“It can be hard to locate a variety of ciders here all at once in town, but that is why I come here if I do not go to the Cidery themselves.
I love this place, they carry all kinds of cider and beer, from local in state to seeing breweries I came of age with from the Midwest being sold in store.
The prices are also reasonable, and one can locate older drops of things like the 1911 Cider.
The folks running the place are always super nice, and let one do their shopping or come to answer questions at the desk.”
