Curtis Franklin should loose his job he forced us to buy another shower threatened to call the cops and walk in on my wife showering. Shower 5 has a broken lock and will not secure itself and anyone can just open the shower from the outside. Curtis was completely rude and would not give my wife another shower without charging us for another shower. The rest of the staff looked like they wanted to help with the situation but was to scared of Curtis to say anything. This is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. Anyone can just open the shower door why my wife is naked trying to shower in private. And because I expressed this Curtis Franklin decided he would do just that and walk in on a women showering to make threats. Mr Curtis thinks it's acceptable to make customers shower in a room that does not lock and then walk in on them to validate their fear. I hope corporate sees this and makes sure this never happens to another person in the future because I find this to be the worst experience I have ever had at a loves. If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would. I should not be charged for a new shower because they have a broken door that won't properly secure. They threaten to call the cops on us because my wife showered after me and my 7 year old kid. Usually we get team showers but because other people was waiting in line i decided me and my 7 year old would shower first and then my wife would come in to take her shower. Initially I told the staff the shower door was broken and I was told they could get another shower for us free of charge because the door wouldn't secure. Then I expressed I would just shower because it was less of a concern for me over my wife and he said that was not problem and allowed plenty of time for a shower to become available. They had a shift change and Curtis Franklin was the awful person I had to deal with that refused to get my wife a shower that would secure and then after she started to shower he went to her shower opened the door that wouldn't secure and told her he was calling the cops unless we paid for another shower. My wife's worse fear came true because of Curtis Franklin and he intentionally made sure it happened. This is a bad name for the Loves brand. Your employees are forcing wemon to shower in doors that dont secure and then walking in on them naked purposely. This man has a power trip problem and is a obvious danger to the loves brand. I wish I had the name of the original employees because they where great but Mr Curtis Franklin has some personal issues at home and is taking it out on Loves customers. I ended up paying 18 dollars for a second shower so my wife wasn't in fear of Curtis walking in on her again or calling the cops as if we did something wrong. All I did was try to make my wife feel safe and have a shower with a door that locked. The day shift employees where perfectly okay with accommodating the issue of the broken shower door and even expressed how it got broken because of an incident where someone hit the door handle and it's been broken since then.

Love's is my goto on road trips. Bathroom was clean. The coffee was good. The gas price was competitive.

Room for improvement. $5.19 for a gallon of water, showers out of commission, potholes deep enough to lose a whole tractor trailer. No outside seating.

The shower was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Honestly, I didn’t expect this level of cleanliness at a truck stop. I was really satisfied.

6/15/2025 Great place to take a break and buy coffee on a long road trip. Not many highway based rest stops along route 86/17 east or west bound. We were happy to stop here for a break. Bathroom was spotless and store was well organized and stocked in a logical manner.

3 stars because waters hot and clean in the shower rooms but the dam water pressure consistency sucks and the show rooms are keeped way to cold ...half of me was warm from the water while the other half was ice cold cause the room never got warm

Shocker yet another loves where half the inventory is missing and not a single hot food item…. Employees just walking around not restocking anything. Just wasting drivers times stopping at a loves… seems every single one is the same poor expierence

This seems to be a pretty clean place . Showers are nice , but again only one towel . It’s really not cool bring back the two towels. The stores are very in consistent. We spend a lot of money for fuel . Most of us take a shower break everyday it makes all the difference. Two towels. Other than that this is a nice loves
