Funny how you have the funds to pave a whole new parking lot and put up an unnecessary fence, but you can't pay your employees a living wage. I worked there just under 2 years ago, and the pay was $13.20 an hour. I can tell you that the people who work there and live in the trailer park right next to you are not happy that they have to walk all the way around now just to get to work at a place that's right next to them. I hope the rumors hold true that someone is going to cut a hole in it. You'd think you would want to show more respect to the at least 100 people who live in this park that shop there every day. At least the people building the fence are not working until 2 in the morning like the pavers were (we have videos as proof), but that is definitely the only good thing people are saying about it. Good luck keeping the fence in one piece...

I love Maines. Reasonable prices, great restaurant quality items and glassware. Friendly butcher dept that will custom cut or modify anything from the meat case. I bought a 16lb boneless pork shoulder and they ground it for me no problem.

They have a lot of restaurant style equipment, paper products, and grocery. Grocery is on the expensive side.

Just recently discovered this place and it's awesome! Meat, dairy, and produce prices are cheap. I like to make and smoke sausage and their 10lb. ground chuck deals are the best around. You save the most when you buy bulk/large cans of stuff. We buy the big cans of tomatoes and kidney beans and one of those is cheaper than 2 small cans at any other store. Some of the smaller cans and other grocery items are comparable to other stores. We've made Maine's a weekly stop.

A decent wholesale grocery and party goods supermarket. They usually have what I am looking for, sometimes in bulk. The place has a massive refrigerated room for beer and seltzer. The meat department is the best in Greater Binghamton, in my opinion.

This place is sort of an open secret...you can find great deals on produce and meat some weeks. And they have an eclectic mix of products that you can't find elsewhere in town.

The quality, widest selection, and up-front pricing has been consistent and maintained with good memories since from 12 years ago. Difficult to find fault with anything, except the size scale of some items might be too massive for some households. They have weekly specials, and even local items like Frozen Dinosaur BBQ and the likes of varied containers of Jones-Humdinger ice cream.

Long drive to find low stock on steaks, they had no cases of lobster, no boss sauce, no bread flour, and quality of meat wasn't as it used to be. They seemed over shopped. Store wasn't like the one they had in Greece.

I Loved shopping for fruits and vegetables at Mains…the colors were popping and arranged so well…you can see the freshness. I especially enjoyed the selection of Plantains, I bought plantains at local grocery stores in my area and they were never as perfectly ripped as these here at Mains. My husband said I acted as if I hit a gold mine the way I carried on at the market raving about their fruits and vegetables. I will be shopping there more often now.

I live better than 150 miles this is the only remaining Maine's The pandemic took out the majority of them as they were primarily a restaurant supply and a lot of the restaurants didn't make it the prices are fantastic you can buy in volume they were primarily a restaurant supply that started serving walk in trafficI screwed up one day and bought a 1 pound container of cinnamon set it on the trunk after I loaded the car and drove off without it !I won't do that againLots of frozen seafood frozen and fresh meats of all kinds if you want a prime rib you can buy a whole prime rib if you want a 40 pound box of chicken they've got it you can buy whole pork tenderloins you can buy 10 pound tubes of hamburger that's very good hamburgerIf you're going nearby it's worth a stop I don't miss it anytime I go by !
