The Humane Society's vision is to be the premier animal resource center in the Southern Tier, dedicated to creating a humane community by improving and providing enrichment, education, and programming to keep animals and families together. The staff at the Humane Society are friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable, with the animals' best interests as their top priority. They work hard to ensure the dogs and cats are well-cared for, with clean and well-maintained kennels. The Humane Society provides a vital service for unwanted, homeless, and sometimes neglected animals in the community. They are a registered shelter and rescue organization, dedicated to creating a more humane world for all creatures.

The humane society was great in supporting me with my adoption of Teddy, fka Penjamin. They do a great service to the homeless pets of the Southern Tier.

I took my father's dog there to get its rabies shot. Yes there was a long line (show up early is my advice) but the line moved quickly. The staff/volunteers working were nice. They ask for a donation and it is WELL worth it.

Great place with friendly and attentive staff. I bring my girl Tessa here for boarding. They take the best care of her.
