“Very modern maple sugar shack. We visited during Maple weekend and they did an awesome job with the tour. They have a large room set up for the commercial store. Many of the products seem to cater to people who are actually making syrup. They did have a selection of maple products available for purchase. Prices seem reasonable. We were able to tour the boiling room and we're giving a very generous sample of warm delicious maple syrup. The store is located next to the house so if no one's in the store you may need to go to the house to make a purchase. Worth the trip if you're in the area. “Stopped by Aldi this afternoon for a quick grocery run. Everything was easy to find, prices were solid, and checkout moved quickly despite a short line. The only small downside was navigating the parking lot during a busy window, but that’s typical along Route 11. After finishing up, I treated myself to Thai Yoga Bodywork at NNY Massage, and it was the highlight of the day. The assisted stretching helped unwind my hips and back after walking the store. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and surprisingly energized.”
