“I found out about NACA when looking for first time homeowner opportunities last fall when I needed more support than just a bank could give me, and they have been supportive so far throughout all the training and loan application process. I am currently in the final stages before submitting my application to get approved for a loan, so not at the finding and closing on a home quite yet - but very close!!
Although the process has been challenging at times for me, I have been successful in completing all the documentation to apply for the loan with lots of support from my counselor, Alex Garcia. I am grateful for NACAs opportunities that offer a low interest and no closing costs, because affordability was always my biggest challenge for homeownership.
I look forward to the next step in this process and the continued support of NACA Staff here in Buffalo.”
“Our family is incredibly grateful for Sensational Fun! Having a child with a language and developmental delay can make even the most basic daily activities a challenge. For example, going to play places because your child doesn’t communicate like the other kids. That’s what makes Sensational Fun so remarkable. They genuinely accept every child for who they are and celebrate each child’s uniqueness. Since joining the Sensational Start program, our two-year-old has grown and learned numerous new skills.”
“Great venue!! I was there for a Buffalo Improv House show, and the space was very cool. They have an awesome gallery on3 the main floor, and the theatre space in the basement was comfortable and the perfect size for the event.”
“We rented the main room for a Tai Chi workshop. It was a pleasant space with a large commercial kitchen, which we didn't use. It's on the second floor, but there is an elevator.”
“My cousin had her baby shower here, and I was thoroughly impressed with this venue! If you’re looking for the perfect banquet hall for any type of celebration, this place truly delivers. The staff was so friendly and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
Although my cousin chose not to use their catering, the food I saw coming out for other events looked absolutely delicious. I couldn’t resist sneaking over to the bar, and I’m so glad I did, the atmosphere there was warm, inviting, and quaint. The drinks were fantastic, and the bartender went above and beyond, even checking in to make sure my cousin’s shower was going well. That kind of thoughtful service really stood out to me!
On top of that, the pricing was very affordable for such a beautiful space and excellent service. I can’t wait to come back with my fiancé to experience the full dining menu. This spot is a hidden gem worth celebrating in!”

“I love this place! BSRA is a fun, welcoming club that has rowing for all ages and experience levels. You can take learn-to-row courses, then row for fitness a couple times a month, or train intensely for summer and fall races. Buffalo River Rowing Club has close to 100 masters age 23 up to 82. Junior boys and girls from Western New York can get out on the river alongside high school programs at Buffalo SEM and Canisius. We Can Row Buffalo is a program for women who are cancer survivors or current patients. The Row Buffalo team brings together the best high school and college men to race, and win, at elite summer regattas. There are programs for 7th and 8th graders as well as young people with different developmental abilities.”

“An Enchanting Evening at OLV – A Symphony of Culture and ComfortFrom the moment I stepped into the elegantly renovated space at OLV, I knew I was in for a night that would gently pluck at the heartstrings of my memory for years to come. As a participant in a private show for the cherished donors contributing to the basilica's latest campaign, my perspective may carry the warm bias of personal connection and gratitude, especially since the performance included my father and his fellow talented musicians. Their heartfelt melodies were not just sounds floating through the air; they were a harmonious thank you note to everyone who supported the basilica's transformation.The room that hosted us was nothing short of impeccable. Adorned with tasteful decor and infused with a welcoming ambiance, it was complemented by a cozy little bar that served as the perfect gathering spot for conversations over fine drinks. The highlight for many, undoubtedly, was the incredible charcuterie table, a culinary masterpiece that mirrored the artisanal skill displayed by the musicians. Each selection was curated with a connoisseur’s touch, elevating the evening from merely delightful to truly exquisite.The chairs, ah, the OLV chairs – they deserve a standing ovation of their own. Comfort nestled into every curve and contour, offering a warm embrace as we settled in to enjoy the performances. They were the silent supporters of the evening, unassuming yet essential to the comfortable and intimate experience.Accompanying this review, I've included a couple of photos of the room where the magic happened. “First time there New years day.Walked in and and there were cats everywhere! Strolling around ,sitting around,so cool.The people there were great.Must have been 30 or 40 cats.All had there own cages to go in and out of.Clean as a whistle, the whole place.Petted a dozen or more cats,kittens, teens,and older ones.We were very impressed. Great job they are doing there.We adopted two teens,Male and Female after an application. Paid the adoption fee said goodbye.So many choices,
never experienced anything like it.Highly recommend.

“Working with the drs at first step thearpy since Oct 2024 has been a pleasure. They got me to the point where I' m standing in the parallel bars for periods of time n now taking steps. On top of that I'm now taking steps forward in a walker. I couldn't of done it without the amazing Dr's that are working with me. I just would like to see me walking with a walker soon.
I made a goal in 2025 that if I wasn't walker I was going to quit .however Dr.Liz
