I would never recommend EG Tax in Springville. I initially made an appointment to which she said she was too busy after I waited for 30 minutes. Then I said ok, I can leave the paperwork. We exchanged emails about a few basic questions. This is just a simple tax return. I made two appointments to pick them up she canceled the first. On the second one (Saturday before tax day) I went all the way up there and she had one of her coworkers come up to the door and tell me it was not done but that she would get it done tomorrow. I knew that would not happen because it was Easter Sunday. So Sunday came and went and I called Monday asking when could I come up. My tax preparer wouldn't speak to me but another person told me she didn't get them done yet but would do so by the end of the day or file an extension. I was assured it would be taken care of. Since then I have heard nothing- she hasn't answered my emails and come to find out she did not even file an extension. I have left two messages with corporate- even before tax day- and no one calls back. No one answers at the office because it is closed for the season. So here I sit with a daily penalty adding up and I can not even get my documents from them. How can I get my documents back so I can stop this penalty and other fees from adding up?? I did finally hear from someone at corporate today so I can determine just how bad the fees are. This was overall a horrific experience and I have never felt so helpless in not being able to get my own documents back.

Their petty business practices leave me wondering what they won’t do for money. These are the people who are supposed to represent you in court if you get audited. Better off getting your taxes done anywhere else.

Charging extremely high amounts to low income families because of an extra couple of pages that their computers print out is disgusting! Over $200 for a return because of EIC and a dependent is thievery from a single parent that earns under $35,000! TurboTax is under their amount so their advertisements are false and misleading!!

Would never recommend them, they do not stand behind their work and do not own up to their mistakes. I am still waiting to get mine correct from 2017 and I am currently out $8k fighting with the IRS to get it back

Very dissatisfied with them , still haven't received my taxes and NO ONE knows where they are.Wouldn't recommend to anyone!Year later and never received any information from them about my taxes last year! And now am having trouble filling once again because of from last year! Would give a zero star if possible

DO NOT go here for your tax prep. This is the shadiest most unprofessional establishment I’ve ever been to. The “supervisor” Dan at the NF location did my taxes and screwed them up 2 years in a row. This year however he screwed up my NY state taxes and I was required to send in a copy of my w2. So now it’s going to take 3 months to get my refund. I went in to show Dan his error and enlightened him to the fact that I basically did all of the work myself and I would like a refu
