Called to simply request the delivery be left in backyard due to packages being stolen. I've made countless deliveries with large trucks myself and is not even a hassle in the slightest to deliver it to backyard. Guy on phone cut me off and rudely said we don't do that, when I tried to explain the reasoning he said than that's on you if it gets stolen. Figured it would be in everyone's best interest, but I guess they just don't care enough to even entertain the simple idea of delivery instructions, never will use again.

Not recommended except for low value unbreakable items. Abandoned the shipment on the sidewalk with no notification. Contents of crate broken into 7 pieces

Great rates on volume moves. Customer service made delivery much easier. Updated website for order and BOL creation is easier. Adding copies of BOLs, PRO Numbers and in transit auto updates by email of shipment routing and delivery status is proactive and reduces the number of calls and follow ups and sharing info customer and consignees makes there lives easier too.Used Estes Express for years and the local terminal staff and managers have.been very helpful tour customer success.

Murphy door contracted them to deliver to my home. I received a call 20 minutes before they were to deliver from a person saying they would leave the door at the curb of my house in the snow in the middle of winter in Buffalo NY a day after a snow storm.Apparently you can only take delivery from them if you are young and strong enough to lift a 400 LB door by yourself. I have had everything from refrigerators to furniture delivered to my home and never had the delivery people tell me they would leave it in the snow at the curb until I could find someone young and strong enough to bring it in.Note to owners of Estes: It snows in Western NY. Some of us are older and some of us are disabled. If you dont want our business put it on your website.Customer service woman was rude on the phone and kept insisting that she would tell Murphy door that I refused delivery.Terrible company. Terrible service. Stay away. If there was a zero start option I would use it.

I've made 8...EIGHT scheduled pickups with ESTES (this location) to return a treadmill. They confirm the appointment and send an automated email saying they will call 30 min prior to the pickup. They never call. They never show up. I have a very expensive and defective treadmill sitting in my garage because this company can't seem to do what they are paid to do.

Do not ship with Estes Express.They somehow shipped the paperwork for my package with out shipping the actual package. So it sat in the warehouse for days while the paperwork made its way across the country. When this was discovered they weren't even apologetic. They just said "it happens".Their online package tracking is totally useless and you end up having to call their various terminals daily for updates. They are also apparently unable to provide accurate estimated delivery dates (it kept getting pushed back and back and back).If I didn't know any better I'd think that my package was the first one they'd tried to ever deliver.

Demanded that i write an email to them so they can deliver to my address while not at home. They refused to store it until the next day citing storage costs without asking me if I would be willing to pay. They told me to put in my email where I would like my freight placed to which i requested to deliver it onto my front porch. Instead I come home to my freight on the walkway to my front porch in the rain. Also the woman I spoke to on the phone was nasty.
