A bunch of workers in the framing department, including Kate, helped my parents for probably 45 minutes because they had no clue what they wanted. Very helpful and kind service, and pretty good prices.

I shopped here 12.6.25. The store was packed with customers seemingly Christmas shopping.
Super clean store and GREAT customer service. The employees know the store! EVERY employee I ran into asked me if I needed help because I know looked lost (I was). I denied the help because I’m stubborn and was uncomfortable to receive help.
The 5th employee I came across asked me pleasantly if I needed help, I accepted it and she showed me exactly where the transparent thread should be. (I wish I got her name). When she couldn’t find it, she asked her co worker near by and she showed us both with a pleasant attitude. Note that it was exactly where my original helper looked. It was just a few slots over and empty. My original helper proceeded to offer looking into their system to see if they had the thread I needed in stock at another store. I took that help. She told me another location that had the thread. I said the location was too far for me SHE THEN suggested Hobby Lobby which was located across the street which I had no idea was there. She gave me directions to get there. I felt like I was in a training video. The service was perfect to a tee. I got a few other things and then cashed out. Cashing out was easy and fast due to the store being properly staffed.
Hobby Lobby actually had the thread I needed! She saved me a lot of time and anxiety! Can’t thank that lady enough for not ending her customer service at, “sorry, we don’t have it.”
Please note that I was uncomfortable when I first walked into the store because I immediately noticed I was the only person of color (dark skin) I initially seen in the store and everyone in the store (employees & customers) were white. I did not see another customer or employee of color while I shopped. If I didn’t need transparent thread as bad as I did, I would have walked right out. Due to the employees greeting me with kindness made it a little easier to enter the store. With the employees being personable in conversation and seeming happy to help, made my shopping a pleasant experience. Great job Hobby Lobby for giving your staff great training and hiring amazing people.
I only suggestion is to hire more people of color to make others of color more comfortable to enter the store. Yes, this location is in a very white populated area. I get it. Just know that diversity is a great thing to have. Even though diversity doesn’t seem to exist in your store (from my experience) doesn’t change the fact this review is 5 stars! Happy Holidays.

Sales associate I encountered went above and beyond treating me with great kindness and consideration! Even though what I was looking for wasnt in stock, I walked out remembering the experience and would highly reccomend this Micheals to anyone who is pasisonate about crafting or collecting ❤️

Sale prices are good. Staff is SUPER nice and helpful! Nice variety of craft supplies for all kinds of crafts! Returns were a breeze as well.
