ZERO STARS! I have been coming here for years and driving almost an hour to get here. Now I have to write a BAD review. I will delete this once I get my refund. I was there for a full CVT fluid flush and after the service was complete hours later, I was told only half the dirty fluid was changed because we do not perform a FULL flush. We do have the proper equipment, or it was broken not sure on the excuse. Who changes only half the CVT fluid??? Thats like doing half an oil change and saying car is good to go. BEWARE if you go here, you will get only half the dirty CVT fluid changed and not all 12 quarts. Now they will not give me a refund! I had to go to another dealership to get the full flush for $400 and I am out $250. Corporate is fully aware of this and will be looking into this also. I will be filing a claim with the BBB if I do not get my refund Monday.

Horrible customer service - if there is nothing wrong with your car, this place is great with Lyft services for routine oil changes but if something goes wrong with your car forget it..... Managers will not return phones calls and they provide an inaccurate phone number to call back at. My service rep Al did not explain the services needed and blamed my driving conditions for internal water leakage on a 2 year old car and did not take any ownership from the dealership incorrectly diagnosing my car. I brought my car in for servicing due to internal leakage on passenger side door then 2 weeks later had much more severe water damage (over an inch of water) and they were not taking ownership of missing the root issue before severe damage to my car. I was expected to pay to fix an issue that is known in subaru cars related to the moonroof leakage. No loaner cars were available for use and I had to also pay for using them if they became available. I picked up my car and had the car fixed free of charge at another dealership. When I escalated to the manager of the location, they blamed my poor service on improper staffing without corrective action on my vehicle servicing. Extremely disappointed with this dealer and I will reconsider ever buying another Subaru.

I had an outstanding experience with Marco and the rest of the service team at Bill Kolb Jr. Marco diagnosed an unusual intermittent noise problem (turned out to be a front suspension issue and was covered under warranty) we had and a few weeks later it seems to have done the trick. It's not just that it was resolved satisfactorily - we all expect that, but his dedication, courteousness and communication went WAY beyond any auto service experience I've ever had. Amazing. The rest of the service dept were also a pleasure to deal with and the complimentary Lyft ride to work went smoothly. Thank you!

If I could give this place a negative star review, I absolutely would. They are lucky to get even 1 star rating. I had my car towed to this location because my car started driving funny and I didn't trust to drive my car to Bill Kolb Subaru Service. My husband called and was assured that the car would be looked at, they would give us update info to what was going on with the car, and it would be a fee of $175 for assessing. The car has been in their possession for over a week and never looked at. My husband had to be the one to keep calling asking for an update, to later find out after the car has been sitting in their possession (over a week to remind you) that they are short staffed, unable to get to the assessment because they are backed up with other cars that have been sitting in their lot for over 3 weeks. Unacceptable. If that was the case they should of told us that before we even sent my car over there. They will never get my business because not only have they wasted my time with inconveniencing me to not be able to get around the way I need to, but they don't even provide loaner cars for the inconvenience.

Absolute worst dealer service iv ever experienced. Incompetent staff from the receptionist to the mangers. Booked a 7 am service for an oil change and to check a diagnostic code. They didn’t get to my car at 7 am or by the time they closed at 6pm. They continued to not get to my car the follow day and the next day the next day and so on for over a week. Managers will not return phones calls and they are “busy” when you go there. The loaner car receptionist is nasty and unprofessional. My service rep Al lied to me two times. Saying they are getting to my car in 15 mins one day when I showed up, and another day telling me they are waiting for the car to cool down as they think it’s a thermo control valve, that my car doesn’t even have. Extremely disappointed with this dealer and I will reconsider buying another Subaru.

Simple 6k service and tire patch took over 3 1\2 hours! had timing belt water pump changes quicker. they tried to tell me that they couldn't mix nitrogen with air in my tires!! very dispointing

Horrible customer service!. I have been a bill kolb Subaru customer for almost a decade. I bought a car from them and have had 2 cars serviced many times. When I bought my car the service after I signed the paperwork was terrible but that's another story. On Monday I had an 8am appointment to have break work done. I dropped it off. Around noon I got a text from my service lady she was going home sick but some one would reach out with status. No ever call back. I called 3 times no answer. Then I called the appointment line to talk to a person who tried calling them and they would not answer for her either. Said sent message for them to call me. They did not. So I walked to the service center. Arrived around 5pm 9hrs after dropped off. I was told sorry we didn't get to some one should have called you. Maybe tomorrow. I walked out upset. I then went back in and asked to see Manger. I was put in waiting are for over 20min because Manger was on the phone. While I sat there people went in and out of the office non stop but she couldn't be bothered to speak with a long time customer. Eventually a customer service person offered me a loaner car. I took the car. The manager could never speak to me. I guess I'm not important enough. The next day my customer service worker is back text me in the morning car has no been seen but I will be kept advised. Hour s go bye I text her. Am told has not been seen can't tell me when. I text again at end of second business day. No hasn't been seen and can't tell when it will be seen. I complain that's not reasonable and am given no real explanation other than rhey are working as fast as they can and they gave me a loaner to help me out. That's a lie too they gave me the loaner to get rid of me because I was complaining that they had not seen my car or called me to tell me. Wensday gose bye 3rd full business day no contact from dealer at all. Text Thursday day 4 ask status. Am told on call get back to you soon. 2hrs pass before they reach back out. The text just says hasn't been seen can't give any eta. They keep telling me over and over how great they were to give me the loaner. I didn't want a loaner I wanted my car serviced in a reasonable amount of time. I said I need to have some idea when this will be resolved. I'm told after 4 days with my car and never looking at it no sorry can't but we are so great for giving you the loaner. I told them I would give back the loaner and take my car. When I get there of course my customer service person is not around. I took my car. I text them and said I had been a good customer for almost a decade and thought the service was terrible. I was text back telling me how great they are for giving me the loaner and how they got permission to expedite my services. 4 days never even looked at it is expired service. I've been a customer for a decade how do think they'll treat you? I got the message they don't value my business. They won't have to worry about it anymore!Service: Brakes

I had a negative experience with this Subaru service center. The short version: incompetent, slow, ineffective service. The long version: After the oil temp light in my Forester began flashing, I called Bill Kolb, talking to an intake person who seemed to be outsourced. They could not answer a basic warranty question and said my question would be answered via email later in the day. It was not, but I went ahead and made an appointment for the following day, as the Forester is my family's primary vehicle, and I needed to be able to drive it. I dropped the car off at 10AM and was told I would receive a call with a diagnosis in a few hours. By the end of the day, the car had not been looked at. The following afternoon, I asked repeatedly if the car would be looked at, finally resorting to calling the service center manager. The manager did get the car looked at, but the staff could not see any light and said that my local mechanic had cleared the data. I had stopped by my local mechanic to ask about the flashing oil temp light, but the light was on when I drove it home from my local mechanic, so this was not the case. The Subaru mechanics were not able to look at the physical car and determine anything. They could only read codes, and when they couldn't find any, did not have any recourse. I spent two days without a vehicle, spent money on cabs, and my only gain is the knowledge that I will not return to this service center in the future.Service: Transmission

I am over the top THRILLED I found this place. While traveling (long road trip) my vehicle developed some concerning issues. Not only was I able to get a last min appointment in on a Saturday before a major holiday, I got the best service I have ever gotten from a Subaru Licensed Service shop. Nichole was amazing, accommodating and understanding of my situation. The tech did a through diagnosis and last min superb repair. These guys really went out of their way.Huge thanks to this amazing team!

As can be expected from a dealer service. Communication is a nightmare. The work is solid and you're gonna pay more for it than a small mechanic you can trust but they'll give you a nice loaner and do the work expeditiously.

Had my 2023 Subaru Outback Touring for 4 days for a simple problem.Didn’t bother looking at it on the first day I dropped it off despite making an appointment for the morning.Texted me an hour before they closed that it was ready for pick up and when I arrived my service agent had already gone home so no one could answer my questions.This place is a clown show. Avoid if you value your time.
