We use this bank for my current company’s account, so when I registered a new, personal business I decided to give them a shot. The first person I met with seemed helpful, but did not handle the account properly which caused issues and eventually lead to the account being closed.I went back to the branch when I received the letter in the mail and was helped by Tom, Ramona, and Julian on different occasions. All three of them were extremely helpful and were able to help me sort out the new account and the on-line portal which was not working because my contact information was still linked to the account that had been unnecessarily closed.The first person mishandled paperwork, did not submit documents that I provided, and did not communicate to me that there were any concerns with the account. I initially went back to the branch when I received a letter in the mail about the closure because I was angry — the mistakes that were made should have never happened.I’m leaving a 5-star review specifically for Ramona, Julian, and Tom (who did recently leave). They had a much more professional level of care and concern for my account. All three communicated with me thoroughly and responded quickly when I had any questions.I would have expected more professional treatment from the first person who handled the original account considering he is the branch manager, however, he is lucky to have a dedicated, hard-working staff that is willing to clean up his messes.Ramona and Julian are absolutely wonderful and M&T is lucky to have them.
