Worst post office the woman who works the counter is rude. I’ve been in here a few times months, sometimes even years apart and every time the blonde haired woman is out of control rude. Don’t waste your time at this post office. I understand some people have bad days but this woman is rude every single time I’ve ever been in there.

Closed 12:30 - 2pm for lunch. Glad we all pay taxes to have the United States Post Office take hour and a half lunch. And I can hear them laughing in the back through the closed gate which means one person could take a break at a time! Ridiculous.

Shannon was extremely helpful, kind and patient while doing my sons passport. I couldn’t thank her enough.

Worst Post Office service in the world. I have lived around the USA, in Germany, the UK, and I have spent time in various other European countries. Never before have I been told it would take half an hour to get a $1.20 stamp when there was only one person in the line in front of me! I don't care if you are doing a passport application, something is terminally wrong if that means that the whole post office grinds to a halt for half an hour as a result.Shame no stars wasn't an option....

How in the hell does a post office close for an hour and a half in the middle of the day?! Ridiculous! At least put in an automated postage machine so people can still mail items!

I attached a caption from someone's review of this Post Office! I believe we are talking of the same person/clerk! "Vile" is the word described of her. And I couldn't agree more. I like this Post Office because it's closer to where we live. Also the other staff is really nice and welcoming, but this woman..... I'd rather not mention her name, but whoever will go there will know, no one roll her eyes as often as this person! Arrogant amd Defensive!

Its amazing how my updated reviews of this location plummet every time I visit here. Its like self torture.. I know it's gonna be bad, but I keep hoping it'll improve, but never does.. same non sense every time. But after my latest quest, Im officially done with this location. Been dropping stuff off here for a while and its seriously getting annoying.. Been using prepaid shipping for years and never have any problem with other usps locations. "Clerk 04" is a vile moody woman.. never says hi, rolls her eyes constantly, always miserable and always.. tries nailing me on something. Measures all my boxes regardless of size. Mind you, I been shipping for 15yrs or so now with ebay and paypal. Never a problem. The last 3 times I been in here(I do visit other locations) I keep getting dinged with "surcharges" that I never encountered before. First time it happened I was confused cause I know the surcharge dimensions and "girth" requirements of the priority and parcel classes. First time it was $22 more on a box that was 1/4" to long.. I paid it cause it was a pain to go home and redo it. The 2nd time was a smaller box, less weight, she got me on a $18 surcharge. I declined, went home and redid the label and came back and had a different clerk who took it. The 3rd(latest visit) she pulled out her measuring tape on a 10x10x5 box and tried getting me on a $35 surcharge. I literally laughed. I had other packages she took with no problem. So I declined the surcharge fee and left. I decided to go to a different branch to test this "surcharge" issue. I went in, guy scanned in the box, gave me the receipt and out the door I went with no issue and then last week I shipped a 50lb stereo at the east aurora usps, and there was no "surcharge" issue. I seriously believe this woman is either pulling a scam or does not know her job.. add in the fact shes one of the most crabby moody postal workers I've seen in a while.. maybe she needs to find herself in a different career or stay in the back and let better people be in the front dealing with customers. After I did this review I actually filed a complaint with USPS and the response was a joke. The "post master" listed on their website hasn't been the post master since 2012(it's now 2017), that former post master said he would contact the new one and get back to me.. never did. So I filed a random complaint thru the site about the poor customer service and the false surcharges and about 3 days later I got a half @$$ed response from a woman claiming to be the current Bowmansville post master. In summary, she apologized for the bad customer service experience but as far as the surcharge issue, her employees are following the rules. She also seemed really aggravated that I went elsewhere and got "away" with shipping boxes that should have failed dimensions and I needed to pay for the surcharges. She was so mad that she said she was going to send letters to the other postmasters to ensure their employees follow regulations. In other words I got blown off and Im just a d*** customer... enter my own eye roll. So my thoughts are 1, Bowmansville is seriously @$$ backwards compared to the other locations, they seem to be making rules and have different protocols from the other locations and im starting to think the new post master is prob clerk 04, just based on the response I got regarding this matter.. just avoid this location.. save the drama and headache..

Quick and easy unlike NYC where I used to live. Buffalo is much calmer. Just a heads up, they do close for a period of time during lunch hours. It's funny how things are reversed here. As a New Yorker, we'd go out on our lunch break to mail out packages. Also, there is no kiosk system here.

For the second week in a row, this office has failed miserably to get an overnight delivery out the door on time to be delivered to Texas. Someone needs to look into the staff at this location and find out why they are not doing their job.
