“I can only review on my experience that I had with the Hocus Pocus event. My sons girlfriend treated all of us to tickets to this event. I don't know how it is normally decorated, but they did an excellent job on decorating in the hocus-pocus theme.Along with the theme, the menu was created to reflect the movie. Not only were the names great but the food was actually good and the drinks were creative and potent. Excellent job, Edgewood. Fun time! 10-1-2023”

“I’m not normally one to write reviews but I just HAD to give it up for Watermill Caterers! We had our ceremony and reception at Watermill in March 2024. Everything was perfect! Not a single thing went wrong! They truly listen to what you envision for your big day and execute it perfectly! Our bridal attendant Christina was completely on top of everything, I never had to lift a finger or worry about anything! Johnny our “captain” was so wonderful and down to earth! He helped make sure everything ran smoothly! Our maître d Nick kept all of the night’s events perfectly scheduled! Watermill is a well-oiled machine! You will not be disappointed booking your wedding here! Be sure to book with the sales person Robert! He was so kind and welcoming, answering any texts and questions we had! The food was incredible! Every entree got raving reviews from our guests! The building and grounds are so well- maintained that you have nothing to worry about for your pictures!”

“So so happy I checked this place out! I live only about four blocks away but I just assumed it was a kids birthday party place. WRONG! They do everything- holiday themed events, kids camp, even walk ins. And it's not just a creative craft done either. They have open play, story time,a bubble dance party, and do some sensory play as well. The lady working was super nice, patient, and had a great positive vibe. The price was fantastic too! ( I paid $19 for an hour a half) and my kid did not want to leave. I coordinated with a mom from the school he goes too and we all got a coffee down the block then just got to watch and enjoy them playing and learning. I say the best age group for this is 2-6 maybe?? But that's just the event we went to, definitely check it and follow their insta. I'll be back regularly.”

“Got there early enough to be seated without reservation although if .ore then 2 in group reservations a must. Try the scones freshly baked especially loved the chocolate chip. Comes w Raspberry jam and butter on side. Tried the white Raspberry tea and the white peach delicious. Sandwiches served on fresh breads w salad a nice touch. Preferred the chicken salad over the slightly over salted Tuna sandwich. Try the high tea menu $45 pp but worth the cost served w little finger sandwich bites and pastries. The service is excellent. Returning w friends again soon.”

“We had our company holiday party here this past week. It was my first time and it was so much fun.The chicken tenders were really good (that's all I tried). The claw machines actually work (I won both times I played). The staff were friendly and very accommodating.Just a note to those with sensitive feet: The rope bridge in the ball pit area really hurt. Consider a different route to get across. Overall, it was a great experience. I will be going back.”

“Reserved a suite for my lady's birthday and wanted to add a few items and decor to the room before we both checked in. I called and spoke to a manager, she said to call back the day of check-in . I did so and talked to a Andrew I believe at about 330pm the day of check-in, he stated we don't do that here ever was his second time reply. I informed him I spoke to someone several days ago , and he responded the same as if I were a inconvenience. Are you sure I insisted and the response was the same. So I ended with fine! , ok, I will be there later. A bit disappointed at the lack of communication between people who work there. Also it seemed as if I was a bother to the person who is suppose to be a customer service, front desk individual. May or may not be back , that was out 1st time visitRooms: The suite was very spacious and very clean.”

“For some reason this post is coming over in my daughter's name. It is however, coming from the Mother of the Bride. Had my daughter's Bridal Shower Brunch here on 5/21/22. The hall was perfect for the event. Alex was amazing, and so was Max. Both of them were so accommodating and easy to deal with. When you're planning an event you're already under pressure wantingeverything to go just right. They made things easier, especially Alex on the day of. Both of them are rockstars! I would definitely recommend this hall .”

“Went here recently with my wife to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The host sat us right next to the door and told us that there was no other table. Luckily, our Server Nick came to the rescue and seated us in the middle of room, knowing that we were there for a very special occasion. Nick treated us well, but the other "meat carvers" didn't really care about serving. If it wasn't for Nick, I would've given the service a 2 stars. The meats were em excellent. And the salad bar had great choices.”

Michelle and her crew slayed that , if you are looking for something different, something mind blowing, something that’s gonna have your guest saying your party was fire, then you need to get in touch with her NOW , to hold your spot , when it comes to everything you need for your party she does that , it’s really a family business, her daughter did amazing balloon work for my party , and my party is the talk of the town , If you are unsure look up her social media to get ideas , but i gave her full control with the decorations and I was shocked, she did her thing ………”

“I had my wedding here on 11/22/2023 the wedding day went extremely smooth, the bridal attendant was especially wonderful and really took care of me and made sure everything went as planned. She helped me set up my center pieces and brought things on her own that I forgot like a cake topper and utensils to cut the cake she also made sure I was drinking and fed all night and even sent me home with leftovers which I appreciated. The vendors that they recommended were fantastic , I personally used the photographer and the DJ, and my maitre'd was also very kind.I picked windows on the lake because I was in a wedding a year before my wedding and I was able to see how they treated the bride and ran the event and needless to say they really care about you or make you feel that way on your special day. The food was delicious other than the salmon (the only complaint I got from guests) and the on site baker is fabulous I had guests coming up to me asking who made my cake and if they could have the information for the baker.The only gripe I had with the venue was that before the actual date of the wedding they did not do much communicating with me in regards to payments and seating charts and picking linens and the reception introduction paperwork. Actually when they called me a week before the wedding they assumed someone already did that with me and they did not so I had a bit to do a week before the wedding but honestly that little hiccup was nothing in comparison to the amazing day I hadI would 10/10 recommend having your wedding there, it had been an all around pleasant and beautiful experience”

“Miriam is the fairy godmother when it comes to dream weddings. She helped us put together the most beautiful wedding that was better than anything we've ever dreamt of. From the moment we pulled down the long driveway and saw the deer running through the fog on a rainy December day we knew the Bourne Mansion was magical. We met with Miriam and absolutely fell in love with the place. Everything from the planning and the meetings to the actual wedding day was so easy and flawless. The Bourne Mansion staff really knows what they are doing, everything is so professionally put together and they have it down to a fine science. Our wedding day was perfect, everything went so smooth and honestly was very stress free. The whole wedding process was stress free because we knew we were in good hands with a highly professional team. Our guest had an amazing time and we are being told it was hands down the best wedding most of our guest have been too. The attention to detail by Miriam was so impressive and Asia our bridal attendant was so kind and by our sides the whole night making sure things were just right. Our Matre d, Jake, was unbelievable!! He was the BEST! He was so on top of everything and he made us feel so special. Not only was he so attentive to us but to our parents and our bridal party as well. He was constantly checking in on them making sure everyone was ok and had a drink. He really made our night so special and was there for us for anything we needed. The Bourne Mansion team is truly the dream team and we feel so lucky to have started our marriage off in such a beautiful place surrounded by not only our friend and family but such amazing people from the Bourne Mansion team. “Unfortunately, the season is coming to an end and I just wanted to shout Brentwood out as one of favorite courses. All of the staff from the pro shop to the 19th hole servers are great people.Onto the course, it’s a relatively easy and well maintained place. Wide open side by side fairways so you won’t lose your balls too often unless they go over a fence or deep in the trees. The greens are in great condition. There aren’t any geese to worry about thanks to the foxes that are roaming freely (careful, they’ll steal food out of your cart).This place is rarely packed.. we’re always starting on time or 10 minutes early. And we always make the trip out to Brentwood bc it’s always a good time. Can’t wait til next season”
