The customer pickup department is very under staffed. I picked up 4 different orders, and 3 of them I waited due to no help they can't get my order because they can't leave the front unattended or find help to pull orders. My orders are never delivered on the date promised when ordered originally! It's always 4 to 7 days later. Customers deserve better!

This place sucks from top to bottom. In my last three trips here I have experience several stupid things. First off, everyone stands around that works there and nobody works or registers and when you ask somebody or something is they just look at you like you’re an idiot. Paint department holy Christ I asked for concrete patio paint and they looked at me like I had three heads. I walked away because I wouldn’t trust them mixing a cup of iced tea. 25 bags of mulch. Of course you get to the register in the garden center And the system is down so you need to walk all the way across the store to find a real register that works. To top it off I witnessed a giant Rottweiler take a huge crap in the aisle because any type of dog is allowed at Home Depot. Who cares if they’re going to bite somebody or causes a disturbance it’s so nice to be able to bring a dog to Home Depot . Keep in mind, any type of power lawn tool that you buy here will fall apart within two years. Leaf flower And pressure washer both shot after two years because they use parts from China for all the stuff

The Brewster store has become unbelievably disorganized, and the employees are not friendly toward the customers especially at the customer service desk, which you would not expect. I went in to buy a riding John Deere lawnmower to ask a couple questions and I got the runaround and no one knew what to do and all the managers were not onsite. Went to Lowe’s instead

Not sure if it’s Home Depot standard but this location in particular is really laid back. Seems like nobody cares if they get fired. 90% of employees are just standing around and know nothing about anything. Ask them a question and they pull their phone out instead of using their brain. Online orders take way too long to be prepared for pick up. Terrible

They rented me faulty equipment, verbally agreed over the phone to give me a refund when I returned it, and then refused to actually give me the refund upon returning of the equipment. I'd recommend renting from anywhere else

WORST customer service ever. From now on I'll drive to Danbury Lowe's will before I spend a nickel at Brewster Home Depot. The employees and managers are nasty people who don't care to help a customer. All they do is give you an attitude and send you off to another person who can't help you...
EDIT- I originally made a 1 star review. I was furious with their customer service or lack there of. But after working with store manager Aaron, I want to correct this to a higher review. Aaron jumped in and was extremely helpful.
