Like one reviewer wrote, it’s definitely more of a personal experience going there. Everyone has been extremely helpful & friendly throughout the years. And a big shout out to JNR mainstay Bill, great guy.

Been going there for years. Bill the Pharmacist has always answered any questions and has been so helpful. Only complaint is that it's closed on Sunday.

Caring, Supportive , really looks out for there Customers!! Recently switched from another pharmacy to JNR, THEY TOOK THE TIME TO MAKE SURE I HAD MY MEDICINE. They deliver for free just gotta pay the co pay at door. easy to reach by phone. Never too busy to take your call to hear your concerns. They really are the BEST PHARMACY IN PUTNAM COUNTY !! YOU are in great hands with this pharmacy.

When we moved to Brewster JNR was so conveniently located I decided to give them a chance. We previously used CVS. I’m not going to lie I was nervous. However, I’m very glad we switched. It’s a more personal experience and they are very professional and helpful.

Our favorite local pharmacy with helpful people. We moved over to them after a series of disasters with Rite Aid. The point of a small pharmacy like JNR is that there is someone to talk to you, somehow who can answer a question. You are talking to a competent person, not a different person each time or someone on an 800 line. Prescriptions are ready when promised, and they are clear and proactive about any problems.

The pharmacy can be a disaster. I was a Rite Aid customer for years and I guess I was spoiled by their attention to detail and service - nothing worse than going to pick up a monthly script only to find out there were no refills and the Dr office is closed. This didn't happen at Rite Aid but it is constant at JNR. My insurance will only pay for meds at JRN so I'm trapped and at the mercy of the pharmacists to focus on my meds. I get several monthly scripts and so keeping up with which ones that have 2, 3 or 4 refills is frustrating especially since scripts are faxed in. But the biggest complaint, dangerous situation, is when they get the scripts wrong or fill scripts that have been replaced by other meds. My husband picked up my meds a few months ago and they included a script I no longer took and physically requested they remove from my list, as well as filling a pain med 2 weeks early. I also take a med for nerve damage, Dr ordered 1 pill a night. Then out of nowhere my script changed to double the amount daily. I assumed the Dr ordered it since I had been on too see him recently. So for months I took 2 a day and the side effects can cause seizures and a few other negative effects nerve problems... which I experienced some. My Dr was upset when I saw him last month and said he never prescribed that and was issuing a new order/script. Didn't matter, still got the old script filled with directions to take 2a day. I give up, I have to sort my meds in the weekly pill holders for safety rather than convenience. It's my hope they improve, for everyone's sake. A plus, the pharmacy has some very nice people who work there.
