Everything was going relatively well until recently. I noticed the bank getting less friendly--nobody saying "hello" when I walk in (although sometimes a person says "take care" when they see me leave). They are short on tellers and YES, other customers have agreed with me on this--I've often seen a teller having to split their time between the teller's window and the drive up window. Cheap! They have up two poinsettias but no Christmas tree and no Menorah--while I'm not the most religious person, I was raised in a Jewish family and so seeing the Menorah brings back fond memories for me of getting presents from my parents at holiday time. Sadly, today was pretty much the last straw. Another customer came in who apparently is a good friend of Christian's (a customer service rep) and this customer couldn't stop bragging about the crimes he says he did--now, maybe he was just trying to be entertaining but I didn't find it amusing. Christian said nothing and just let the other customer stand there in his (Christian's) cubicle bragging--it was very unpleasant. In fact, I finally became so upset that I actually told Dominic not to brag about his own Thanksgiving when he already knew I had not received any Thanksgiving invitation this year. Dominic is quite young (he's about 10) and I deeply regret coaching him recently so he could get a raise. I'm sorry I rooted for him and I would never do that again. Dominic--in fact, nobody--apologized to me for leaving me in a rather uncomfortable state this afternoon. Don't bank here--I'm switching banks myself!
