Wish I could rate this branch 0 stars. Don’t expect any honesty or decent service from anyone at the Brewster branch. Anthony & the other ladies promised phone calls back 10 different occasions and do not call. The manager doesn’t seem to care either. You have to end up calling them each time. I will never use this bank again!!

If I could rate this branch 0 stars I would. Within 12 days of opening an account Someone tried hacking into it so they restricted access. KeyBank Brewster would NOT call me back. Took me 4 days and countless calls to them asking for answers and they finally came to the conclusion to "close my account" Thank god i have other banks and I only had $700 in there. It took weeks to get refunded and closed with them.

I just wanted to give major props to Daniel S @ the Brewster branch!
Our company rep has nothing on Daniel he always goes out of his way to assist us with any and all of our needs. He is very professional and prompt with replies online n return phone calls. Just wanted to make sure he is recognized by Keybank for outstanding customer service and it’s appreciated!!! Thank you Daniel

Customer service on important things like debit card security is horrendous. I had a problem with my card and was told to call the number on the back of my card. The phone is answered in the Philippines! I left a message at this branch to speak with the manager on Tuesday. It’s now Friday. I can’t cancel my account fast enough.

The staff here are always very helpful. Love the ATM outside and the additional one in the foyer.

Well, not a bad group of employees but a lousy upper level bank management crew (not on the premises) has left this branch somewhat lacking. One teller is almost always caught having to help customers at both the drive up window and at the teller's desk; and that looks very cheap. (And yes, other customers have agreed with me.) Staff members are clearly overwhelmed by what seems to be a gigantic pressure cooker and the manager has strict rules that customer service reps cannot be disturbed when they are helping a client--good rule, but since a lot of their clients take a long time to help I can be waiting there for some while before I can speak to a customer service rep. One "person" in particular thinks they're all hot but trust me, this one's got some growing up to do effective yesterday! These days bank customer service is being sacrificed by having too few people at most bank branches--this bank is no exception. Shameful.

Everything was going relatively well until recently. I noticed the bank getting less friendly--nobody saying "hello" when I walk in (although sometimes a person says "take care" when they see me leave). They are short on tellers and YES, other customers have agreed with me on this--I've often seen a teller having to split their time between the teller's window and the drive up window. Cheap! They have up two poinsettias but no Christmas tree and no Menorah--while I'm not the most religious person, I was raised in a Jewish family and so seeing the Menorah brings back fond memories for me of getting presents from my parents at holiday time. Sadly, today was pretty much the last straw. Another customer came in who apparently is a good friend of Christian's (a customer service rep) and this customer couldn't stop bragging about the crimes he says he did--now, maybe he was just trying to be entertaining but I didn't find it amusing. Christian said nothing and just let the other customer stand there in his (Christian's) cubicle bragging--it was very unpleasant. In fact, I finally became so upset that I actually told Dominic not to brag about his own Thanksgiving when he already knew I had not received any Thanksgiving invitation this year. Dominic is quite young (he's about 10) and I deeply regret coaching him recently so he could get a raise. I'm sorry I rooted for him and I would never do that again. Dominic--in fact, nobody--apologized to me for leaving me in a rather uncomfortable state this afternoon. Don't bank here--I'm switching banks myself!
